I have to go with CR29. 2009 was a pretty good year (with UC2 and DAO being my games of the year) but I'm thinking 2010 will be better with GOW3,Gran Turismo 5,Heavy Rain,Bioshock 2, Dragon Age: Awakening (I just put this on here because I'm excited for it lol) and alot more.
Your opinion, so okay.
Again, okay. But maybe you should realize the biased approach you are taking, considering Bioshock 2 didn't actually come out and you actually haven't played it yet. So regardless, UC2 is eligible for 2009 GOTY and Bioshock 2 is currently still just your wet dream.BioShock 2 would of so easily overshadowed it, if it didn't get delayed.
Why even make the comment at all, since this thread is about UC2 and obviously people here are going to be fans of it. Go start a Bioshock 2 thread or something.
Thanks for informing me on how forums work. And take your own advice and deal with me being able to say what I want, when I want.
Either way, UC2 is still the most selected GOTY for 2009. And deservedly so.
Move along now.
RE5, UC2, Forza 3, Batman AA, SF4, Tekken 6, Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Infamous, Killzone 2, Halo 3: ODST, Assassin’s Creed 2, Borderlands, Demon’s Souls, Dragon Age: Origins....
hell yes definitely a shit year full of shitty games ahah![]()
So much Wii hate in this post.
Spoiler:
I really like Uncharted 2 but I kind of lost interest once they patched the 40k disconnect penalty.
I constantly find myself on unbalanced teams with a bunch of low level noobs, doesn't matter if I try ranked or not because the party system overides any balance system (which makes no sense).
I often find teamates dropping from game also at start and when is only 5v5 originally when you one or two persons down it makes a massive difference, I'd rather like to just quit and find a full game than waste time for what will usually end in a loss anyway.
Also in both competitive and co-op I've been hit with a disconnect punishment a few times because someone else quit mid game. Not to mention seem some people out to grief in co-op and refuse to move along to the next area, leaving you not choice but to quit or wait for them to continue which after 10+ minutes they obviously aren't going to do.
All player rankings have been reset to 1.
Thanks a lot Naughty Dog...
Only skill rank, not level rank.
Kind of worthless anyway since the way it promotes/demotes you is crappy, is all about win/loss so if you get stuck on a poor team and you score 49 kills with 0 deaths but the other team wins by getting 50 kills first, you lose rank.
Likewise if you hide ina corner and do nothing an entire game but your team wins anyway, you get promoted.

A great interview with Nolan North. Who knew he started out on a soap opera? Lol.
as with anyone, it all depends on what you like. for me, i tried a majority of what you listed, and i can say something that i didn't like about every single one of them.
to make it short, i would rather say that 2008 was a better year. and the sad thing is, i bought more games for Nintendo platforms in 2009 than i did for any other console.
You know there isn't any perfect game, I can say something that I didn't like about every single one of them too but they're not that bad, at least not enought to make the 2009 a shit year...not just my opinion though.
Not sure how you can say that BioShock 2 would have been better, when u actually haven't tried it yet.
But as you said to Jill's boob you're free to say what u want and when u want. I was just trying to understand how the 2009 was a shit year with those great games out...even not considering FFXIII, Yakuza 3 and Bayonetta, which technically are 2009.
Theres no perfect game?
Sure there is. Its called Half Life.
...it explains so much about me that I got bored and stopped playing that, doesn't it? Never even touched the sequel.
The perfect game is the Most Dangerous Game. Nothing like hunting trolls through a jungle, letting them get a little hope up, only to finish them off right as they believe they're safe. Explosive vehicle ignitions never stop being funny.
