Just an update to this here, the skype call in line has been discontinued. Its much easier for everyone if you just send us an MP3 or WMA. MP3 is preferred, since WMA tends to come out awful after compression

Also, we kinda realized that pausing calls to discuss their points is kind of rude, so in the future we'll play your call in its entirety and then address the comments if needed.

Yeah, basically I use an app to record everyone off that. With Skype 4.0, the voice quality went up a whole hell of a lot, but Rob sometimes still drops out to a lower quality mid-sentence. But I much prefer the quality now than in earlier episodes. It sounds like people are right in the room with you.

Using a microphone and a sound program. I recommend Audacity.

Aren't the podcasts PS3 friendly enough with the multiple "trey 4 life's" in them ? :p

Me and two other friends do a podcast we call PS3above, we do live skits, talk PS3 news, Anime news, and we have a Retro segment. To whom would I submit a demo?

Please don't advertise here without an admin's consent. We have quite enough spambots, thank you.

Updated this with some new information. We'll eventually make a new RPD Dispatch section on the main site, once the design is in place. For now, please use the podcast generator page as the download archive.

I'm curious what you guys are using on the podcast to transmit. I just purchased this baby on Carn's recommendation.

Just a cheap shitty logitech that I found on the floor of my flatmates bedroom.
Don't worry, it's all good. It doesn't sound like I'm standing out in a snowstorm while we record...

Funny, I sent an text to Carn a few weeks ago to get the name of those, 'cause I'm going to order a pair myself.

That first time I sent something in and sounded like I was coming from within the labs I had just a small open mic which I had to hold or could clip on to my shirt as a lapel mic. I purchased the following week one of those Logitech Clear Chat USB headsets, which I can use on my PC and PS3 so I wouldn't sound like I was in the middle of nowhere. Nothing amazing, gets the job done.
