Famitsu Weekly on Biohazard 5

Once again, the upcoming issue of Famitsu Weekly's news have been 'leaked'. Note that these only applies to the Jpn version of the game since Famitsu is a Jpn magazine, so they might not hold true for the English version.

- initially, there will be 3 difficulties to choose from (Easy, Normal, Hard)
- The story is told little by little in each chapter.
- auto save check point
- when you arrive at a check point, you can't retract your steps.
- you will be able to ride the raft and the tramcar in the game

I don't think a decision like that would have been made if it wasn't for the benefit of the game and its narrative, so it's probably a good thing. These little titbits of information about things that you can/cannot do will continue until the release and no doubt give people the wrong idea by reading them.

Trust me, when the game comes you won't care about backtracking

To be fair RE4 didn't have that much scope for this either. Plenty of sections where the way back was cut off via some means.
