Here's a theory.

Jill is tubegirl. Birdwoman is a clone. The hundreds of tubes surrounding Chris and Sheva in the lab are all clones of Jill. Jill is under the effect of Plagas. Chris and Sheva save Jill by removing the Plagas from her body. Chris defeats Wesker, Excella escapes and becomes the new series antagonist. And in true Resident Evil fashion, the lab begins a self-destruct sequence. Chris, Sheva and the real Jill NARROWLY escape, and all of the clones(including Birdwoman) are incinerated in the blast.

Jill is just kept in a tube to stabilize her plagas infection...seeing the bald Wesker-looking guy with cat-eyes, makes me think Wesker is cloning himself perhaps, in order to become a "God." Now a narcissistic person like Wesker probably would love seeing hundreds of followers in his visage...then again, at 0:14, it looks like the bald guy is sitting in Spencer's wheelchair before he becomes overwhelmed with leeches, so...

What is it with you people? First you bitch about Jill being dead, then when she's confirmed as alive and you have your own way, you THEN complain about her being "evil"?

Yeah, really. This whole "oh noes, why is Jill evil" is getting really annoying now. I mean, I'm a dire hard fan of the series, but some of you people take it to a whole new (and scary) level. Calm down, damn. I didn't create this site so people could obsess over a specific character in the series to the point where it makes you look mentally unstable. I created it for level headed fans who can discuss things in a normal manner.

I agree that all this talk of saving the human race and infecting everyone and all that shit, makes it seem like he's going to be infecting everyone with his super-virus...BUT...I really, really don't think of Wesker as the 'sharing' type. Do you?

the way i see it, capcom have already shown how they're trying to main-stream the game to appeal to the newer audience, with these last few trailers they're showing that the game still has a lot for the older RE fans to look forward to as well in terms of over all story and plot.

Yeah, you are right that the game seems to have lots to offer for old fans. I´m not an old fan, only played the fourth game, but I have updated my knowledge on wiki and will watch the RE retrospective at gametrailers.

Everything we have seen so far seems to point to capcoms commitment to bring back stuff that fans know and love from the three games before the Leon adventure in europe. And the producer once said that the game will have elements both from the old games and from the fourth. For that reason I think Capcom should trust the millions of old fans who will buy the game regardless of a spoilery trailer or not.

Thanks again for a great site, and I´m downloading the hd version now to watch it just once and hopefully forget it until release... hehe

No, he definitely doesn't like to share. As I said, he is a narcissist, first and foremost. And since he wants to be a "God," he will of course have to remain the most powerful.

Anyway, this trailer is incredible. Epic, even. And Chris is looking like the heroic goddamn sexual tyrannosaur male lead this series has needed. I love that he is finally getting his due. Nothing beats Wesker -vs- Chris in the RE universe. Nothing.

OMFG! This trailer is pure epicness. I never thought any other trailer would beat the TGS ones, but man I'm so glad I was wrong. Wesker is such a badass, so birdwoman (who we pretty much know who she is now). The end is the best I've seen in a trailer.

Sherry is not in the game. Tube girl and birdwoman = Jill (or tube girl is real Jill and birdwoman is her clone) One of those two. If you look at the end of this trailer, BMW has the same face of tubegirl.

Was anyone else blown away by Excella's facial expressions and perfect mouth movements when she's talking on the monitor? That might be the best I've ever seen. And also, the BOOBAGE at 2:00 was pretty gnarly as well.

I don't want to read every single post by Jill fans, whining about how Jills isn't in RE5, how Jill is killed, how Jill is evil. With Capcoms budget and time spent on this game let's hope they can break the trend and actually give us a decent ending instead of the cliche countdown/explosion. With how great RE4 was how they had to revert to that generic ending AGAIN pissed me off...they couldn't think of anything else?
