Leon and Claire (cute) cubees:
And Excella's card:
When I got back from lunch this was waiting for me at my computer monitor. Ah, looks like Excella Gionne has been dropping by the Capcom offices again. Flipping the card over shows this: Gee, I wonder what this is for. ..

At that point in the character development, the virus had infected him. There wasn’t much of a story yet, so the focus became about what would happen to Leon if he started mutating. How would this affect his mind, his body, and how he could overcome what was taking him over. And if it did overtake him, then how would they create missions around that?PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium

An article came out today at Gamasutra where Jun Takeuchi talks about how Capcom handles the development process of their current games for a worldwide market (he talks about Resident Evil 5)
Capcom's Takeuchi On 'Cheap, Fast And Tasty' Approach
excerpt:
Takeuchi and two other production managers came up with a three-part strategy during a dinner conversation: "Cheap, fast and tasty. That probably sounds like a familiar catch phrase from a certain fast food restaurant (in Japan)."
"Cheap" refers to cost efficiency, he explained. "In the past, we would have different teams create their own game engine for similar types of games. There was Resident Evil and Onimusha, both of which were action games but the engines were different. Why not use the same game engine?"
The solution is the MT Framework, Capcom's latest game engine...Stuff to remember: Avoid forums if you're having a bad day.

Two "new" Bio releases from Capcom Japan this month!
(well, three actually, with RE5 PC.)
CV Complete + Bio 4 value pack with soundtrack (30+ songs)
Pretty nice package, though not extremely cheap at 3990 yen (about $40). Released same day as RE5 PC, Sept. 17th.
Capcom Music Collection Vol 0
17 tracks, one from RE2. Pretty cheap, only 1050 yen (about $10).
