I missed this May 30th update on the comment made by Kawata in a Nintendo Power interview in regards of the possibility of Barry Burton making it to Resident Evil: Revelations by way of a DLC (actually, with April Fools Day in the way, I was trying to avoid most news bits).

Here's an update on that story:

C-U user: Kawata recently said that if they decided to release a DLC for Resident Evil : Revelations, it would involve Barry Burton.

But yet, you (C-U Sven) claimed Resident Evil Revelations wasn't built to receive DLC.

So who exactly do we have to believe here?

And Sven replied:

Sven: As the producer on the project, Kawata would have the best info, however to the best of my knowledge, the game was not built to be extensible.

Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection

Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection is definitely more fun when you play it co-op, there’s nothing that cements a friendship quite like fighting zombies together! In addition to being more fun, it’s also more tactical because you’ve got an ally to help cover you while you’re reloading, not to mention facing boss battles are far more exciting (and a little bit less scary!) when you’re fighting beside someone. Graphically the game is looking good, with the overhauled HD graphics making it worth your while to pick this title up, not to mention Trophies!

CAPCOM is holding a celebration for the completion of Operation Raccoon City at the Garden Room in Ebisu, Tokyo on April 13, 2012 to April 26, 2012.

They have also announced four rather delicious looking drinks to be sold for a limited-time only at the CAPCOM Bar in Shinjuku, Tokyo, from April 26 to May 25. They are the "HUNK Drink" (alcohol) and the "SPEC OPS Echo Six Drink" (soft drink), as well as "Infection" (alcohol) and "Licker Caramel Latte" (soft drink). When you order you will receive some patches.

The CAPCOM Bar will also begin selling official merchandise starting from April 14.

From the point of view of someone who loves the Resident Evil series like no other, one word best describes Resident Evil 6 to me: "overwhelming."

To briefly describe my dedication to RE, I play every version of every game in the series, except for obscure mobile versions. I play them in English and in Japanese. While I'm not the most competitive player ever, I've beaten every RE countless times and have amassed an unreasonably large collection of RE games from all over the world. I even ordered that $1300 Japanese RE6 Premium Edition. To say I'm simply "looking forward to RE6" is an understatement.
