I didn't realize this thing was produced so well. I'll try to get a feature out on it asap, but I don't know much about the machine itself or the history behind these things. Is anyone here knowledgeable about them and could give a brief summary? Is it customary to have them tied to games like this?

Yeah, there are alot of licensed gambling games like this. There was a Devil May Cry 3 one too. There are also film ones too. I've seen Batman begins, as well as an Alien V Predator one too.
I saw a licensed Super Mario coin game (but not a slot machine), in Sega world, which was made by Capcom I'll try get a pic of it.

There are even magazines dedicated to pachinko and slots and stuff. Today it just struck me that I should check them out asap, to see if there is anything on the biohazard machine in those.

The promo DVD for the machine actually shows off the games bonus modes and stuff, as well as pics of the machine. I haven't seen any here in Japan yet. But when I do I want to try playing it.

I'd definitely pay good money for one of the promo sets. All the ones I found don't ship internationally. Hell...I'd pay them extra so they could.

If you click on the second tab, the Gallery, you'll be presented with 50 boxes for screenshots, of which 44 are filled, and 6 are still empty.

I think we should get those screenshots in before E3.

Yeah, #42 is awesome.
I think that's the final boss fight/batte with the ChainSaw freak.
But #17 is the one I crave to see in action as well.

His skin is all charred and cracked. He must be in an insurmountable amount of pain...

But so is the Axe-Man(in the scene where they submission Chris).
Both of their skins are charred. As if they were burned alive to be given strength/etc.


Btw, I like the fact that it's night, the smoke from the fire is fogging the whole screen, and such.

It'll be even better if it goes like this:

*Chris walking forward*
*Off-screen, we hear a chainsaw rev up*
*Chainsaw freak get's on-screen, RE3 Nemesis Dead Factory fight style*
*Chris says some cool one-liner*
*Chris shoots the barrels around them to light the whole circle around them in fire, so the Chainsaw dude doesn't run away. Obviously Chris wants to finish him off if he does this*

In one of the screenshots, I could swear there was a tentacle or something coming out of a similar crack in one of the villager's arms. Perhaps it's a side effect of the parasite?

It does look like its coming from his arm....it seems too far down to be the tentacles coming from the inner portion of the parasite in his mouth.

It looks almost like it's coming out of his mouth and piercing his arm!

After messing with the brightness and such, I was able to make the shot of his arm a bit better, and yes, there are actually two tentacles coming from his arm.
