I'm conflicted.

I'm going to be buying an XBox 360 or PS3 for RE5 (among other games of course, RE5 just makes it a priority), but I don't know what I should get!

Because it is common knowledge that they recycle these to save time and money. Hiring composers for each new game is costly, wastes time and gives the series a much less scary setting. When you take the time to get it done right, people may not like that some of the more noticeable bits are missing.

In the New PS3 gameplay video You can see the "inventory full" icon and that the currency picked up by Chris is the Nigerian Nairas "₦".

Nigeria is the only country to use this denomination, it is located in West Africa which is where Sheva's BSAA branch is located and it is on the coast which is necessary for the "saltwater cave" location we saw in one of the earlier trailers.

RE5 Online: cross-platform?

G-Mutated Birkin queries: “Some games feature this and some don't. Are there any plans of bringing the online accross two platforms? Meaning I'm on a PS3 while a friend is on his 360, and we can play together? Has this been discussed?”

Here's the new trailer from Leipzig.

It's basically the three different versions of the E3 trailer re-edited into one with a few extra new scenes for good measure. It does, however, finally show the blonde girl again, albeit briefly.

UPDATE:

Mad Catz has signed a deal with Capcom to make peripherals based on Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter 4, and Bionic Commando.
