          • Destructoid has posted a rather lengthy preview of the RE5 demo from the recent Capcom event. There isn't really anything we haven't already seen or read, but they do mention that they were told players will be able to choose which side of the screen Chris and Sheva are on. Whether this means you'll be able to switch from left to right and vice versa with the press of a button ala MGS4 or Uncharted, or if it will be something you'll have to change in the Options menu, remains to be seen.

I thought I'd post it, though, since this is the first time I've heard about it.

Gametrailers has a nice retrospective on Leon and Claire's exploits from the events of RE2 up until Degeneration. There are a few minor mistakes here and there, but it's worth a look nonetheless.

It also hints at the end to a Resident Evil retrospective coming February 5th, 2009. For those unfamiliar with Gametrailers' retrospectives, they basically look at the history of a game series, dividing the feature up into several videos that look at all of the games in a franchise. They've done them for Metal Gear Solid, Legend of Zelda, Silent Hill, etc.

                          • Wow, cool!!!
                            Thanks Umon!
Maybe they are trying to ease the pain of the Bio5 demo delay?
New video too? I'm checking it out now!

                            Edit: New video, 203mb
Bio3, 385mb (with dual shock 3). The screen shots look clearer than the ps1 version I remember. Hmmm...

Edit 2: the video is the same as the Tokyo Game Show, shown earlier, with Japanese subtitles. But it's nice to have it in its highest quality.

Now I need another JP PSN card to get Bio3 (I've only got 200yen on my account)

Yeah, funny I kinda expected in the lead up to the release of RE5 they might just do this. Good stuff, they are generally quite well produced.

                              • A Degeneration theme is available for download in the Platstation Store. It is free. It's not the best theme, but at least its something.
