Readers might remember ramblings about Capcom Japan hiring an actress from Kill Bill to star in Biohazard 5 commercials. The official Biohazard 5 Japanese website has been updated and two commercials have been put online. Check the link to see them.

anyone else finds it odd that the official website of the game has exclusive console version based commercials ?

I wonder if the scene with the executioner grabbing Sheva is in the game or wether it was just an engine mock up specifically for the commercial? Probably the latter since nobody has mentioned it in their write ups of the first few chapters.

Ooook, whats up with that old guy? why put an old guy playing the game? I mean... I have no problem with that, but... that commercial didn't make me whant to try the game or anything

That was CLASSIC when the girl looked over to see the old man just smile and nod.

I don't know, I always find things funny when I can't understand what they're saying.

That...was....amazing.
I got a kick out of the old guy's nod, with that awesome track from the "Play God" trailer in the background, it just was perfect.
By the way, unless I'm wrong, "Futari de Bio" would mean "Bio Together" right? Unusual slogan, but eh, if it sells games then Capcom has nothing to fear, aside from lack of 360 support in Japan.

I've been grabbed before...and there was never any special scene for it. I thnk it was just either good editing, showing the close up of Sheva's face and then showing her getting grabbed, or just something they made for the commercial.

I love the music though, made me go back and watch the TGS trailer for it. I really hope the soundtrack to RE5 features these awesome tracks and there not ripped from some other source just for the trailers.
