Biohazard Outbreak: Japanese Server Players

You need a network adaptor for the fat PS2. Good luck. I think they're easy to find in used game stores but no idea if it's compatible with the Japanese PS2.

Also, don't talk english when you play. just use よろしく (type=yoroshiku) to introduce yourself. When you're done playing you say お疲れ様でした (type=otsukaresamadeshita). And then またよろしく~(matayoroshiku~) means, see ya! Most Japanese are cool about foreigners, but there's a few bad apples that can get you banned. Think about how some people treated the latinos in the US servers. Oblivious to the fact that there was no spanish version of the game for them to play.

Sometimes, if they're extremely polite they'll use よろしくお願いします (yoroshiku onegaishimasu).

Bumping a semi old thread, are the Japanese servers still up? also all I need to play is OB 1/2 to play? (or do I need some patch....) my ps2 is modded (slim w/swap magic). Thank you for tour help.

You have to patch the DNS. File 2 still has a decent amount of players. There seems to be some Japanese newbies recently, maybe there's hope for more players later!!! But it's still just about 10-20 players at most. Maybe 48 at peak times.

If you want to play File 1, it's best to ask people to join you there first.

Yeah, the difficulties involved with getting an account are too much. Likewise, I've halted any work on the translation patch. Maybe we'll pick it back up again, but honestly I doubt it.

Hey, I'm more than willing to help anybody play once you've gotten an account. Or if you want to beat scenarios. As long as you let me have the shotgun on DT Very Hard and you don't provoke the siege to happen.

RangerX's been banned over 10 times and it takes him 5 minutes to make a new account. You can always ask him.

While the15th's "10" figure may be a bit of an overstatement (though it made me smile), it's true I've been banned many a time. Accounts take minutes to create, and the 15th, I, and others play on a pretty regular basis.
