It's the dog's AI in a zombie body. Also, seriously fucked up.

It'll take you down and bite you as well but I think either your health needs to be lowered first or it has to hit you at a specific angle, I couldn't get it do it during that vid though which is why Chris looked untouchable.
I'll try doing a spider but irc it crashes the game, I think it was only the cerberus and crow AI that didn't crash it, with these being in-game memory hacks though instead of file swaps, you can let the room load normally then change the given address so it doesn't crash instantaneously when loading the game from fresh, you can do it on the fly room to room so to speak.
You can also change the AI as many times as you want in the same room on any one of the 6-8 enemies.
If he had a brain, he'd be dangerous.
just to chime in, the crash could possibly be the fact that a spider has 21 model parts, a zombie has 15, cerberus has 15 and a crow has 13, meaning the game wigs out cos there are 6 model parts not existing in the zombie. Have a room load NPC chris or jill then switch it for tyrant xD.

Didn't see this, but that video is curiously interesting (as I've only tried assigning AIs to non-hostile NPCs before) and... well... there's a technical curiosity there that I found strangely interesting. I'll probably bring it up later when I've checked a few things and made sure I'm actually right.
Missing animation sets in memory, possibly?
I had the game crashes in on the PS1 back when I was assigning passive/non-enemy NPCs with hostile AIs and they tried to do certain non-movement related actions.
Possibly but it's more likely to be what Enrico said, atm I'm reordering the dead npc characters tmd objects into workable zombies.

First attempt at Richard, I think I got the order of his arms wrong though, his head seems to far forward also.

Ahh the wonders of the zombies. Modelled in a T Pose where as the Humans aren't
Im playing Resident Evil Deadly Silence and I am stuck on a puzzle. Inside the control room in the shark tank there is a valve that you have to turn. I tried using my finger and the pen but the valve just refuses to move and if it does it turns for a few seconds and then spins back to the start. What am I doing wrong? Help meeeee.
You just have to rotate the valve clockwise either with your pen or the finger. I'd probably recommend using your finger because the pen is a bit precise. Make sure to do it slowly and carefully and then it should drain all the water.
It worked for me now for some random reason. I checked the net and found that this is a common fault apparentley I'm not the first person to have problems with this part. I figured I'd give it one last try and it worked. I got passed that and now I'm stuck on something else. Damn this game and its touch screen mini games. At the start of the game it asked me did I want to play Classic or Rebirth. I thought classic would be the normal game without any touch screen mini games however every few doors I walk through I get the knife fight with like 4 or 5 zombies. Its beginning to bug me now. I remember thinking to myself last night that they have ruined a perfectly good game.
I have a quick question for all of you THIA experts…
From what I understand, Kenneth J. Sullivan’s uncensored decapitation can only be seen in Biohazard (PS1 - Japan), Resident Evil (PS1 - Germany), & Resident Evil (PC - USA). What about Biohazard: Director’s Cut / Director’s Cut Dual Shock Ver. (PS1 - Japan) and Resident Evil: Director’s Cut (PS1 - Germany)? Were there any changes made? How about the Sega Saturn version?
@kevstah2004 - I noticed that in the “PC Demo Download” thread started by Anders that the German demo also shows Kenneth’s uncensored death. Is this the only one?
Lastly, does anyone really know why they censored Kenneth’s death? I can certainly see why they made some changes to the introduction, but the decapitation scene just seems rather tame to me, especially when you compare it to some of the in-game deaths. I’m just curious. Thanks in advance, guys. I appreciate the help.

I believe Kenneth's head scene is in all versions of Deadly Silence.
I can't speak for the other editions though.
I was stuck on the spining the vinyl disc in the snake room but I finally managed to get past that. I have a really old Ds its this big old grey thing. My g/f has this version of the DS and until recently I thought they all looked like this.

However when I borrow it from my brother he gave me this thing.

Maybe there is a problem with the older models? I am now stuck again but this time its because I am being overwhelmed by enemies. It seems that every room I go into has something waiting for me. At one point I went from a room with 2 dogs to a room with 3 zombies to one of those fights where you have to tap the screen to knife them, only problem was there was 3 hunters! Its safe to say I got my ass handed to me.
Sounds like the touch screen is messed up. You could try recalibrating the screen by going into the DS options.
