I've captured and encoded the cutscenes of the game from the PC version which looks much better than the consoles' versions (but still not as great as I hoped).

Played at: 1280x720 (16:9) @ 30fps + 5.1 Surround
Rendering Quality: Highest Quality settings, dx10, fp16 HDR, 4x MSAA + SS-TrAA, 16x AF, Vsync ON

Captured at: 1280x720 (16:9) @ 30fps, RGB, FPS1 + 5.1 Surround, 48KHz, PCM

Encoded at: 1280x536 (2.39:1) @ 30fps, YV12, x264 + 5.1 Surround, 48KHz, Nero AAC
Encoding Quality: CRF18 (HQ profile) + LC 256Kbps (HQ profile)

Note: The quality of the first cutscene isn't very good because it isn't rendered in real time. The rest are fine.

^If you don't have an account, free users on Rapidshare have to wait 15 minutes between downloads. That's probably why people prefer megaupload, since it does not have a time limitation between subsequent downloads.

I'm not going to complain about it though, as doomed has been kind enough to make these available, so however he chooses to upload them is fine with me.

Megaupload will be just as difficult to use for these as rapidshare would be if you don't have an account i'm sure, that's what had me confused.

Nah, they are both very similar in downloading for free users. Just click on the link, wait a certain amount of time (usually 45 seconds or so) and then the final link pops up making the file available to download. Only with MU, immediately after the first file has downloaded, you can instantly download another. Whereas with RS, you have to wait 15 minutes.

At least that is how it has always been for me, but I haven't downloaded anything via either site in almost a month.

*MU also takes a few extra seconds to enter a 3 digit captcha-type of code.

*I also don't know if there is a daily limit on either, pertaining to how many bytes of files you can download per day.

Guys, if you don't like RS, don't download them.

I'm not interested in uploading them to another filehoster since I don't know how long they will stay online. I have a Premium RS account and I don't plan to stop renewing it anytime soon. As long as I pay once a year, the files will be available forever.

Plus whenever you download them from RS I obtain points which allow me to further prolong the availability of the files.

Note, that I'm not doing it for the RS points, to really benefit from them I need hundreds of downloads per file. Unless I upload warez material (which I don't) the benefits are minimal.

I'm currently in talks with News Bot to see if I can record them again, this time without subtitles, in order to be featured at Project Umbrella. But this won't happen in the very immediate future so I suggest anyone who wants them to grab them now.

A program like jdownloader http://jdownloader.org/download/index will help a lot those that do not have a Premium account because it can auto-download them and even reset your modem/router to obtain a new IP to bypass the waiting time.

@ doomed, don't feel downhearted because of people that won't pay for such a good service as Rapidshare complaining, this is GREAT stuff thanx. Using my premium account to download them now. And I know what you mean about the points going to finance your account, it'd take some doing 8-)

I forgot to mention that I used the Directx 10 renderer and I edited a config file to force fp16 HDR lighting calculations and high quality reverb effects.
