Apparently they removed this piercing noise that accompanied gunshots, which plagued the EU version on the PSN. I dled Silent Hill and I haven't heard a thing

it was in the U.S. version as well, but on retail. i couldn't stand playing it.

I learned that noise can be stopped if it starts by equipping the knife, also some people have claimed that there is a new noise bug in the US PSN but I'm playing it and it works fine.
