Randomwab managed to play through it in Japanese. All story dialog is voiced (in English) + some side-story/bonus cutscenes are too. But all description text, subtitles and non-voiced NPC dialog is in Japanese.

It's probably not too hard to play in Japanese, but if you can find a guide of some sort (or aren't too afraid of exploring the menus a bit on your own), then it's probably very easy.

Nein. Absolutely no indication that the PS3 version will come out overseas (which, again, is kinda funny, considering the English PS3 footage that was seen in some trailers)

Rising Star has now comfirmed for Deadly Premonition to release over here in Pal land!

Rising Star Games has stated that it will be publishing the infamous Xbox 360 game in PAL territories, currently slated for an Autumn release. Deadly Premonition launches with a suggested retail price (S.R.P.) of only £24.99, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details.

Glad to see it will be released here in September, and only 7 months after released in America. Time to 1000/1000 this (unless I am doing full completion on Reach still) when it's out. It's going to be glorious.

Wonder if any of the text will be updated in the UK release. The US release had horribly written English text (even the subtitles had grammar mistakes that you'd only really accept from someone who'd yet to finish primary school)
