Default Resident evil Afterlife Un-Delayed. Back on Track For 2010

Shock Till you Drop are reporting that Resident Evil Afterlife, recently delayed to 2011, has been un-delayed back to it's original September 2010 release date. This makes it in line with the last two installments of the franchise, both of which were released in September.

    Afterlife Undelayed to 2010

Awesome, this made me quite happy after having to go back to school. Ugh, Mondays...

I forgot to turn on mobile Twitter updates on my phone for the past few days, so that's probably why I missed it. Pretty awesome, though!

Well, I'm going to wait for a DVD release anyway. After Extinction, I'm not holding my breath.

I can't wait to see whether or not they make it even better than the last three movies.

Plus, now I get to use that uber-scientific voice people use and say "Resident Evil... In 3-D!"

Hard to top the first one though, in terms of the series. Second and third were good, but 1 was still the best. But you never know!

I hope they decided to do something different. Honestly, I love the movies, but, imo, 2 and 3 were practically more of the same (not story-wise, but in terms of film-making, shots, themes, etc.). Either/or, at least it'll be entertaining (I hope).

The second was my favorite. I really didn't like the first one so much :/ I don't really know why, I've just always enjoyed the second more.

Thats great so by Christmas I can rent it and feel glad I didn't waste my money at the movies, just two plus hours of my life.

as much as fans could possibly hate the film series with every desire....they still see them anyways. ironic, but goes all fans of whatever games i guess.

Sales say otherwise. Do I really have to draw them all back up again? I really should save them for moments like this...

And besides, when did you become the voice of every human being on the planet?

Edit: I suppose I'll go ahead and do it.

Movie: Gross revenue - budget costs = total profit

    Resident Evil: $102,441,078 - $33,000,000 = $69,441,078

    Resident Evil Apocalypse: $129,394,836 - $45,000,000 = $84,394,836

    Resident Evil Extinction: $147,717,833 - $43,000,000 = $104,717,833

Looks to me like they're good enough to gain momentum with each release. So!

    Resident Evil Live Action Series: $69,441,078 + $84,394,836 + $104,717,833 = $258,553,747

    versus

    Resident Evil Degeneration: $8,547,105 - (couldn't find budget costs. Hmmmm.... >_> ) = $8,547,105

    Profit difference: $258,553,717 - $8,547,105 = $250,006,612. That's not opinion. That's a fact.

Nice one. I believe every forum in existence should have that as a disclaimer.

I will say this, though, it boggles my mind that people still go to the theaters and shell out $10-15 to see those 'Resident Evil' crapfests that you call good movies, so you have a point there.

A lot of people watch American Idol, though, too.
