Resident evil Afterlife Un-Delayed. Back on Track For 2010

Shock Till you Drop are reporting that Resident Evil Afterlife, recently delayed to 2011, has been un-delayed back to it's original September 2010 release date. This makes it in line with the last two installments of the franchise, both of which were released in September.

Hard to top the first one though, in terms of the series. Second and third were good, but 1 was still the best. But you never know!

I hope they decided to do something different. Honestly, I love the movies, but, imo, 2 and 3 were practically more of the same (not story-wise, but in terms of film-making, shots, themes, etc.). Either/or, at least it'll be entertaining (I hope).

Looks to me like they're good enough to gain momentum with each release. So!

Resident Evil Live Action Series: $69,441,078 + $84,394,836 + $104,717,833 = $258,553,747

versus

Resident Evil Degeneration: $8,547,105 - (couldn't find budget costs. Hmmmm.... >_> ) = $8,547,105

Profit difference: $258,553,717 - $8,547,105 = $250,006,612. That's not opinion. That's a fact.

Indiana Jones 4 and Terminator 4 made a lot of money, too. Does that make them good movies? Who gives a flying fuck about revenue. I will say this, though, it boggles my mind that people still go to the theaters and shell out $10-15 to see those 'Resident Evil' crapfests that you call good movies, so you have a point there.

A lot of people watch American Idol, though, too.
