I'm still waiting, with baited breath, to see if he keeps the whole 'All the plants are dead' thing in the movie. The plot hole so big even the official novel didn't mention it. Because how does a virus that's transmitted by bite to living flesh get into plants? Zombies don't munch them. Zombie cows maybe? Rather than flesh they crave grass still? It can't be the water, because then plant life in the sea would be dead too and the world would have a distinct lack of something. What was it again? Ah yes. Oxygen.
