Hey Rombie any after-credits scene?

Yo Rombie, how suitable is it for kids? My son wants to go see this. Bear in mind he's been allowed to see Iron Man 1 and 2, Thor and Captain America (but not the Hulk, because it's shit) and the only thing I minded in those were Tony's dancing girls. The level of violence was OK.

If he's seen all of those then I can't see any real issues. The violence is on the same level more or less (there is one thing which I will PM you about though just in case)... no dancing girls, no women sleeping over, none of that. It's focused on the conflict and the characters from start to finish.

BTW, The Hulk is finally done justice in this for sure. Makes up for the other films.

Yes, there is a coda about 1/3rd into the credits after the "main graphic" credits (the ones where the main actors, writers, producers, and production companies are credited full screen). You'll only have to sit through 1 min and half of that before it starts, and it's a doosey, so make sure you wait.

I heard that there were two scenes...the one you mentioned, and one after the credits completed. Confirm/deny?

I heard that rumor too and apparently one last after credits scene will be added for official premier on May 5th. Keep in mind they shoot one scene for Avengers only a week ago. IGN informed about it. But still it's just a rumor.

Seeing as we got it really early there is always a possibility when it arrives in the US next week that something more is added, but the print we got had just the one. There is supposed to be a new Dark Knight Rises trailer attached in the US as well which wasn't attached to our print.

The non-meshing with the coda from Thor was one thing I picked up...

...and it kinda overlooked the impact on SHIELD's research into it as well, when it was such an obvious thing that shouldn't have been missed. Obviously Loki was esentually manipulating the Earth end of the Tesseract so that the wormhole would be opened to let his actual self through but that is ignored. Maybe there is more in the deleted scenes or something but I don't recall anything specific being said.

But even more than that the main thing I hated was the "Deus Ex Machina" part with Erik Salvig and the Tesseract at the end.

Hawkeye couldn't remember anything from being controlled by Loki yet Salvig - who not only looked the most excited to be working on the thing under Loki's control - somehow manage to create a failsafe for the Tesseract as if he was conflicted, and then on top of that he then somehow immediately remembered it so they could use it at the right time.

I really hate convient contrived plot devices like this normally in any film but it was even more frustrating than usual because the rest of the movie was so well scripted except for that event (and the above overlook)... it just looked like it the movie had been written into a corner and they needed it as a way out... so I kinda consider it a plot hole with a really poor plug in it.

Other than those things I thought the movie was awesome, and overall I could overlook the first and be okay with the second. But I just think something better and less stupidly convient could have been done. Without those I would easily walk away from the film saying it was one of the best crafed pieces of popcorn cinema ever made. As it is however I'd say it's the best in recent memory instead.

I may be mistaken but Hawkeye does keep his memory, I remember Black Widow asking him if he remembered one thing (where Loki will be maybe) and he replies he didn't know because he never asked. He does remember that Loki was going to use it in the next 24 hours or whatever timeframe he said though.

I'd need to see the scene again to be 100% sure but I'm sure it was implied he couldn't remember where Loki's base was (even though obviously he'd been coming and going from it) so that it would require them to wait and see where he would strike (which obviously Stark works out), which was the thing he "didn't ask" about. Even if I heard it wrong, still doesn't stop the whole thing with Salvig and his failsafe thing from being quite contrived to get them out of corner they script was written into.

Some could argue comics do that sort of thing all the time I guess, but I guess it really only bugs me because, as I said - barring the Thor Coda overlook otherwise, I found the rest of the film to be a solid blockbuster script work from Whedon and Penn.

I'm a Hulk fan. What can I say? Enetirnel and I even got to meet Lou Ferrigno and get his autograph. I liked the TV show, animated series and the two movies thus far. Currently watching Incredible Hulk now. Really love the final fight in it with Abomination. I'm sure Mark Ruffalo will be a great banner too in Avengers.



At least we know Hulk's going all out here. Can't wait!

If Banner controls the Hulk by being angry all the time now, why did the Hulk tear the shit out of the helecarrier and Black Widow, who wasn't trying to hurt him? Or does that only work if he voluntarily transforms?
