Capcom Japan have announced that the Dead Rising 2 prequel "Case Zero" will not make it's scheduled August 31st release date, in Japan at least for now. No word on whether this delay applies to the other territories as well but we'll update as soon as some official confirmation is revealed. The reason for delay was given as inappropriate content in a trial version of the game, or something along those lines. No revised release date has been announced so far.

A french gaming website Jeux-Actu contacted Capcom and received confirmation that the delay is only for the Japanese version of the game, the US and European versions will still make their scheduled 31st August release.

I flipped when I originally saw that this morning on Kotaku.
I thought, "Are you freaking kidding me? The day before its supposed to come out, its delayed?!? FML"

The inappropriate content was probably a woman fully clothed, either that or a decapitation they seem kinda funny about that one you know . . .
