Default Jill Valentine in Marvel vs Capcom 3 as DLC Character

A recently released image for the Collectors Edition of Marvel vs Capcom 3 has revealed Jill Valentine as another addition to the roster, but one that will come in the form of DLC packaged with this special edition, possibly releasing to the general public soon after. No images or game play videos have been revealed thus far but we'll keep you posted as they become available.

Jill Valentine in MvC 3. Thanks to a STARS member for the heads up.

Hopefully it's not just her RE5 apparel, if we get her original costume and/or the RE3 costume, then it's all good.

The T-002 is in the centre of the RE5 themed stage, so I'm feeling lucky.

IMO Jill is wearing exactly what most wanted her to wear. Based on what fans would talk about in regards to what she should wear in a game such like this one here.

And I think that RE5 has established a new look for Jill that is apparently, here to stay. Blonde Jill it is.

I dig the artwork there for the front cover, it catches the spirit of Marvel Vs Capcom. Now bring Frank West DLC sooner rather than later. Jill should be interesting if she's going to have any of her previous moves from MVC2, with a few new addition to suit her apperance in Resident Evil 5. Day one for sure.

Maybe I missed some info on Revelations, but... I don't think the timeline has been established on that one, right?

Since the lead characters appear to wear their BSAA outfits, me thinks the game is set before RE5. Unless Tricell's involvement with the infamous alliance wasn't enough to disband it after RE5.

I think it's pretty obvious that RE Revelation is set after RE5 and yes BSAA was founded by GFC but now it's official UN organization so there is NO reason for disband

She also looks like other videogame characters such as Nina Williams, Fiona Belli and Alex Roivas.

But I guess that Sarah Bryant was the original 'generic blonde with a ponytail in a skintight suit'.

Ok. Now lets see if Capcom will confirm this in the actual game.

Chris hadn't seen Jill since she was 'killed' by Wesker.
So unless Revelations is set before this event (2006), it must be set after the rest of RE5 (2008/2009?).

Ugh... I just can't get behind zero suit Jill!

Who originally designed that suit for her (or had the idea)? Takeuchi? Damn Takeuchi.

Does the fact she still has the P-30 attached to her chest mean her abilities are super-mega-batshit-crazy?

Not that her abilities without it necessarily made a difference in Desperate Escape and Mercenaries.

But... It's still curious that they made a point to include it.

^ Here we go again... Takeuchi's just the producer

Actually, the origins from the battlesuit harkens back to REmake (remember the artwork shown after beating the game?). Although a bit different, the general idea was the same: a purple/dark blue battlesuit with high heels.

    Anyway...

Cool to see Jill joining the Biohazard team. I'm tempted to get the CE with all these cool extras, and it's only $10 more.

I'm officially sick of Battlesuit Jill. I dearly miss RE1 Jill, and even BSAA Jill was tolerable...but this Battleslut attire wore thin on me within weeks of playing RE5 for the first time. It's just stupid. The P30 device, the tight spandex, the twin Skorpions, all of it are just a reminder of RE5 which feels like a bad dream that came true.

There's no doubt in my mind that Jill in MvC3 will be doing backflips and ridiculous martial arts attacks while spamming her Skorpions and all kinds of other stupid crap. I wish when Jill 'died,' she stayed dead. She's a shell of her former self.

I completely, wholeheartedly, obsessively, heartbreakingly, utterly agree.

If the outfit had been a bonus costume in any game, as it was clearly considered in REmake, then it’d be a different story. But, the fact this outfit is actually an official part of canon… Yikes.

While I am inclined to agree, let's remember what type of game this its. It's a fighting game....every character is going to have a ridiculous amount of attacks, skills, etc. The placer art shown earlier in the MvC3 thread of Jill was a hell of a lot better looking though, even if it was the classic art/taken from MvC2.
