Umbrella Chronicles would need a major face-lift on next-gen consoles. The GameCube era assets used in that game were too obvious even on the Wii. The quality wasn't of the same caliber as that of the original 2002 REmake.
However, Darkside Chronicles would look kinda decent. A bit like these screens:

I wonder if this thing is the game OPM france was going to reveal next week. The Outbreak fans aren't going to be happy if it is.

I want a release date and its funny because I just started recently playing through RE4 again

This was what I guessed would happen when Kinnect/Move were announced - I mean, did no one find it odd that Darkside had in-game "achievements" already? Include that Dead Space Wii just got the PS3 port treatment it seems likely.
I certainly wouldn't expect CVX or RE4 otherwise the announcement could be disappointing if it's the rail shooters.
Yay more ports
I'm only really interested if Code Veronica gets a complete overhaul and if RE4 gets bumped up to RE5 level graphics.
Also the super long title makes me laugh a little.
Andriasang's reporting is pretty irritating. All spec and no sources.
cvxfreak confirmed over on NeoGAF that it is indeed Biohazard CODE: Veronica and biohazard 4. He'll have scans later.
Personally I'm not totally sure how this will turn out. CODE: Veronica is dated beyond measure. It pales in comparison to most late-gen PS2 games. If they're going to make it HD, they will undoubtedly have to remake every single texture, model and animation, if not just give it a complete REmake-level overhaul. If not, it's going to be a pretty big joke.

RE: The mercenaries is under 3DS section in that page btw
YAY more ports of the same damn games fans have played over and over again. I'm so glad I don't waste my money on these ports.
This is some exciting RE news I've read for a short while now (thanks for the info xfactor and andriasang). Since it appears they'll porting Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica for this leaked project, I wouldn't mind getting it.
Can't say I'm really excited, but if Code: Veronica gets a facelift might buy on release. If not, I'll wait until I can pick up it cheap.
Imagine if the RE4 port gets some of the features of the "Classic Edition" charade. Now that I would instabuy.

I know a lot of you guys have done this too, but I have played Code Veronica SO MANY times, did speed runs, got everything there was to get, unlocked everything, and I played through RE4 a few times. I don't understand why people are so quick to buy a port of the same game, just for the simple fact that it looks better visually by being in HD. It still doesn't change the fact that it is the same game you have played over and over again, and to be honest, after playing these games so many times, you get bored of them, and it pisses me off that the only thing they are willing to do is upgrade it to HD. If they added more, that is one thing. But to just convert it to HD and say, "Here is a new game!" is just bullshit.
Am I wrong for feeling this way?
...code veronica?
...why?
why not a collection port for both systems? why only 2 games? you know there gonna charge up the ass for this!
