Wonder how they'll handle the conversion process (Code: Veronica will surely be running through the Dreamcast port-o-tron, but I'm a bit curious about whether Resident Evil 4 will be brought over from Wii or if some horrible third party will just use the PC version as a starting point instead...)
Either way, the announcement / reveal of this thing made me laugh and think "Resident Evil 4 - Classic Edition, is that you? Been a while! (exactly 3 years)"
Wonder how they pulled that one off... I don't even think the PS2 version on composite looked THAT bad (RF?)

I thought the same thing, shit playing the game on a Gamecube running through the official Nintendo Component cables looks amazing, or inturn running the same Gamecube disks on the Wii via Component cables too. apparently according to the actual website these are gonna be in a bundle only....I don't want re4 again I mean how many copies of re4 can anyone actually have before they get bored of looking at the same more or less package?

Seems like my wait has paid off and there will finally be a PAL CODE: Veronica not just in 60Hz, but HD too. Well, this is all dependant on the fact that it gets released in the UK, which it should if it gets a US release.
Tis a big shame it comes bundled with the worst excuse for a Resi Evil game though, kinda makes me question a purchase, but just for CODE: Veronica alone, so tempting...

As much as I am trying, I can't seem to think of a valid reason as to why I would buy this. I already own three copies of CV(X) (Dreamcast, PS2 & Gamecube) and three copies of RE4 (Gamecube, PS2 & Wii).
That aside, I can somewhat understand the release of RE4 on PS3 presuming it has Move support as my Wii copy of the game is definitely my favourite and Capcom can appeal to those who played RE5 as a starting point into the RE series. The choice of CVX as the other game though is surprising - I cant help feel that the game is going to feel very much outdated but maybe that's my own personal opinion. I imagine the reasoning behind it's inclusion may be for the RE5 fans who want to peek further into the Chris Vs Wesker story.
Anyways, it shall be interesting to follow to see if anything new is added to the ports but in the meantime its priority lies behind Revelations, Mercenaries, Damnation and heck, even the 5th live action film.Last edited by Biokk; 03-24-2011 at 07:09 AM.

It's like that trick they do with HD in TV shops. One side looks like it's comming through a 1952 TV with a coat hanger aerial, the other looks like...well, digital to my crappy eyes. I simply don't have the eyes to see every pour on someone's skins in real life, so a TV has no chance unless it's twenty feet wide.

wow at the cvx picture...i dont care if i have both games on ps2 him buying this and selling those. ill have the definite versions. the other re4 pic doesnt look bad either.
