I just keep thinking that this vehicle would have worked better with out the Biohazard attachment.

A shooter, battling an onslaught of zombies and enemy teams in an urban environment? This would have not been a hard sell for the developers or publishers.

With anything zombie selling like hotcakes at the moment, it shouldn't have been so hard. I would have bought it.

Am I in the minority here?

No, I also find it hard to believe that no one else put out a socom style zombie game, I guess they were too distracted by fast paced FPS's like Left 4 Dead and beat zombies with anything you can find games ala Dead Rising and the future Dead Island being all the rage.

I don't ever remember it ever being explained, given the blockade was in effect the first half of RE3, and that was before RE2, so. . .unless you have the magic answer for something I've never heard actually addressed before by any of the material of the games, which, I wouldn't be surprised if you do, haha.

Pretty sure most people just believe the idea that the military missed a couple back roads that Leon, Claire, and (let's not forget) the semi-truck driver all happened to just stroll into town on.

While I would agree with this statement, it does seem like Claire and Leon both used major highways given the signs as they approached the city. I wouldn't really consider it a plothole though.

As for how this correlates to ORC...Raccoon City itself seems to have grown beyond just a 'small' town to having several skyscrapers and a much more modern look (from a distance anyway). I suppose that goes along with the Slant Six view of things (widened streets, etc)

True dat. I think Slant Six is just going for a more dramatic enviroment with all the skyscrapers and such, which can also be said for Leon driving into a town which is clearly already burning instead of wondering into a small town with no idea that something's wrong at first glance (which I think is creepier). Hell the Raccoon City here in Kentucky has nothing but a motel and a gas station (Stagla?!) lol.

The U.S. Army and National Guard didn't completely seal off every single road into Raccoon City. Leon, Claire and the truck driver come in through 2 separate side-roads. There's also the highway road in Outbreak File 2. Umbrella also manage to transport the Hunter Betas into Raccoon City between September 29 and October 1. The only actual road that we know for definite was sealed off is the one seen at the end of the Outbreak scenario, and that was mostly just the U.S. Army sending an investigation unit in. And are we forgetting the end of 4D-Executer? There's no indication or statement in the games which says that every road leading into Raccoon City was completely cordoned off. There was a U.S. Army presence around the city to pick up any escaped civilians, but that's about it. Leon and Sherry manage to get picked up in the asshole of nowhere at the end of Biohazard 2.

The thing with the burning city was started by Outbreak, really. However, that was at the very beginning of when shit started to go sour and Darkside Chronicles and Operation Raccoon City are overdoing it big time. The city quiets down by September 29 and it just becomes desolate, quiet and empty (because everyone is fucking dead maybe) like the city at the beginning of Day of the Dead. The whole thing with fires raging and smoke plumes everywhere is just really bad direction. Not to mention completely stupid when Claire, Leon and the truck driver ride in without a second thought. They just reversed the mood set by Biohazard 2 and Biohazard 3.

I'm not hung up on the accents or dodgy lines, in fact it is one of things I love about the RE series, except in RE4 where they seemingly intended it to be cheesy. It isn't funny like that.

Yeah the voices don't bother me too much. I actually think Vector's voice is funny at the beginning of the trailer. Well, see for yourself:

I don't know why that image was included in that trailer/interview video, unless someone deliberately put it in there to draw attention to it.

That image is not from ORC.

Even though there is always a possibility that Capcom could include Jill, Brad and Nemesis, I have a feeling they won't.

The first image was an artwork of Leon & Claire coming from the REDSC.
But why they decided to put the second one with Nemesis if it doesn't come from REORC ? it's stupid ! Too bad Game One...

didnt nemesis was confirmed? anyway this game starts at sept 29th, which means brads already dead. maybe will see him as a zombie.

    jill is in for sure.
The only thing that can defeat power is more power. That is the one constant in this universe. However, there is no point in power if it consumes itself.

Don't know about Nemesis, just Mr.X and Hunters. I'm really hoping Nemesis is in it though, along with some Lickers .

Operation Raccoon City isn't gonna be mainly about killing
Leon.Capcom announced that Leon is part of the the story but not the main focus.Which right there brings to light that there will be more stuff to do in the the game.since re3 areas are in the game.Expect Jill to be there.Somewhere near the Clock Tower scenerio in RE3's Timeline.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the other areas of the game, such as the RPD, Sewer, Hospital, Park, and Dead Factory. I really hope these areas will be in the game. Please let it happen!

I wish there was a way to get our questions to Capcom. Is there a way? Perhaps I should ask on Capcom-Unity?

You'd be better off talking to Slant Six, but it's not likely they'll answer much.

I know, I just want to ask them if those areas I mentioned will be in the game. I wish game companies would be more open to taking questions from their fans. It would just be a nice thing to do, and would help them gain more respect.

I sent Slant Six an email asking about the other areas in the game. If they give me an answer, I will post it here on the forum.
