If you can't be bothered to click i'll sum up, they announced the movie, the title and the title treatment. They also announced a video game tie-in was in the works featuring Jill and Alice. Why would something like this be an April Fools' joke? The only answer to that is that they know that we bloody hate the RE movies as they destroyed the games and want to have a laugh at/with us.

I'm laughing my ass silly right now because I'm torn in two by this news. On one hand the April Fools gags still continue, but on the other this is the same kind of shit I would expect from a movie series such as this.

Is it too late to opt for a reboot that doesn't have Alice in it?

And yeah its fake, they wouldnt stop this money printer of a shit series, and make it smarter for kids over 14 years, as they would loose the "main" audience for the film.

Maybe oneday a nice remake will happen, I just wish they never said no to Romero's script what a mistake.

This has to be an April Fool's joke, which sucks because it sounds pretty cool. Sienna Guillory always played a good Jill, and I'd love to see her more. Then again I love all the movies so I'd see it regardless, but somehow I doubt this is real. Would be nice if it was though.

There is also not a single source on the site that lists it as EXCLUSIVE info but claims it comes from Screen Gems. No, this was an April Fools joke put out by Bloody-Disgusting based on Sienna confirming she'll be in the next film and the incorrect rumors pre-Afterlife release stating Sony would reboot it after the fourth film. Some game sites had modified the joke to claim Capcom announced the 6th game was a reboot.
