Had a mess about in practice and a run through arcade mode once. I am so out of practice with this game and compared to what I've been playing it feels super-speed. SFIV shortcuts has really messed up my accurate inputs also. Tried Nemesis, he doesn't seem so great, Hawkeye rocks and I will for sure be sinking some time in with him. Didn't try other new characters yet, Captain America still feels wanting which is a shame.

Anyway, if people are gonna be online post here and say so. I'll be playing Zelda Skyward Sword and check back once in a while.

Well, I played some Ultimate today, actually having some fun with the game finally playing Jill's Boob. I wouldn't have minded inviting you or Vito to a lobby, but I've changed my control scheme for the game yet again(to mirror my MvC2 setup), and I wasn't really adjusting well to it till about the last quarter of the games(having to keep thinking about the damn inputs of what i wanted and such). I didn't really want to make a poor showing of it. Good news is I think I got it down. . .mostly anyway. I can actually use assist now sorta decently, but I'll definitely need to practice more to get some combos down, but I think with the simplified control scheme, I have some real potential to improve now. Only trying to manage two fingers over three certainly helps. Just comes down to the speed of the inputs.

Anyways, maybe we can have a go at it tommrow. I think my Wesker/Akuma/Vergil team kicks all sorts of ass. Jill's Boob kept bitching about Vergil. I can't help it if he's such a BEAST! lol. We both started out pretty rough, then he started to kick my ass once I suggested he replaced Akuma with Iron Man(per my suggestion. ..sort of. I was suggesting Nova--all because of the red, white, and blue *American* color scheme, lol), but once I started getting my shit down, I finished pretty strong.

Um, what? I think you missed what I said.Stark helped him one up me for a while because it added a more versatile projectile character to his mix, but really, it was his good ole Cap that did alot of the damage--Chris and Iron Man are more support. ..but that was until I got used to my setup. Besides that, it was more of Iron Man's Air Raid assist that helped him out alot. Then it turned into near manslaughter. And for the record, Vergil IS NOT overpowered. All 3 of Jill Boob's team members can kill Vergil easily in a few good hits. His health is only 750,000, after all. Plus, Chris and Cap deal out bookoo damage. But with facing a Vergil, youc an't just stand there and try to attack. You have to It's better to be a moving target, and find an opening than just the plain frontal assault, which, Jill's Boob's team isn't the best built in that regard. Any Vergil's I've come acrossed have mostly been dealt with with Akuma more or less because I bounce and attack from all over the place until I get an melee opening.

Played a few more people online, player match only. I was mostly winning but mosty due to reading their characters and guessing tactics to counter rather than doing big damage combos. Plus Skrull. I do like Skrull. I'm kind of liking Trish also.

I'll be online sometime today. If anyone has vanilla on 360 I can give you a game also, but I rarely turn the 360 on except to watch SKy TV through it so would need arrange a time for that.

Played a crapload of matches against Valentinesdead, good mix of wins/losses. I officially hate wolverines new swiss cheese move, I try throwing a few pokes and just get that come out nonstop instead, I have the same problem with Chuns legs except Chun legs are a great move.

I need learn somemore characters better also, are only a handleful I know some good combos with so the others I just do basic links with, also I have no idea how to play Phoenix Wright -at all-, I was just hiding behind assists trying to work out how I gather evidence, I never did figure it out.

Fun matches anyway.

I was fairly hell bent on not buying this until a friend started telling me about the new characters and their moves...Well, today with a coupon in hand and a DS game that I wanted to exchange, I paid roughly $16 for it. Do I think it is worth $40 for what we are given? No, not really...BUT, some of these characters are nothing short of awesome.

Vergil...I love the balance of super speed and resistance. He doesn't seem to take any where near as much damage as Dante, and his moves just seem to flow more smoothly. Nova is a pretty cool addition too; I haven't really played around with too many of the characters.

And I notice I'm gravitating back to Super-Skrull whenever I get in a match that seems to be a bit tougher. He seems to be the only character I can chain decent combos with, though I cannot stand how easy it is to execute Tenderizer namely because I get so sick of hearing him say it.

I like the idea behind the Heroes and Heralds mode; the cards giving various power-ups in a nice touch.

I'd be willing to play online matches with people who are average or below. I, myself, and by no means a fantastic player, and it isn't much fun just watching someone fling your character back and forth across the screen. Feel free to add me (though like I've said in the past, state who you are in the invitation or I will ignore it).
