Drinking alone? I'm Russian, and vodka is hardcoded into my DNA, but even I never drink alone.

Topic derailed from dat muslim-socialist-communist-marxist-antichrist-president Obama, to something much more important.

Sorry for the late reply, Darkmoon! Got a bit tied up and didn't want to give you a half-ass answer. First off, I want to let you know that I've studied the Qur'an for years. Being both Christian and Jewish, I thought I might want to have the head's up on a religion that declares me it's sworn enemy and the "vilest of animals".

Starting off, I want to make a blanket statement that applies to your whole retort. According to the Qur'an, Muslims are allowed to lie to unbelievers for the sake of advancement of Islam. They are allowed to "gain the trust of non-believers" in order to defeat them.

        Some examples:
Qur'an (40:28) - A man is introduced as a believer, but one who must "hide his faith" among those who are not believers.

Qur'an (3:28) - This verse tells Muslims not to take those outside the faith as friends, unless it is to "guard themselves."

        More examples

So in the hypothetical situation that Obama is indeed Muslim, the Qur'an allows him to deceive non-believers for the cause of Islam. (Speaking of which, some of the 9/11 pilots spent some time in West Palm Beach, Florida; drinking, soliciting prostitutes and partying it up before carrying on their mission. Things the Qur'an forbids UNLESS it's for the cause of Islam.) So, Obama drinking beer isn't anything detrimental to the claim.

Practicing or pretending? As the above verses demonstrate, it could easily be lie to win the favor of non-believers. Regardless of that, Obama has barely attended church service since his inauguration, nor does he celebrate Christmas.

        2009:
"President Obama and the First Family were planning a “non-religious Christmas,” according to Social Secretary Desiree Rogers. Ms. Rogers reportedly told a gathering of former social secretaries that the Obamas did not intend on putting the Nativity scene on display – a longtime East Room tradition."
"Unlike almost all Americans—including atheists—the Obamas do not give their children Christmas gifts. We know this because Barack bragged about this last year to People magazine."
(Muslims just so happen to be forbidden to give gifts on Christmas.)

But, if it turns out that Obama is not Muslim, it sure as hell doesn't make him Christian by contrast. Obama believes in "collective salvation" which is not only Marxist thinking, but completely anti-biblical. If anything, Obama is an atheist playing all sides. (But my bet, is Muslim.)

Ehhh.. No. Just no. Anyone who supports Israel would not petition for Israel to divide Jerusalem, their rightful land. However, if he wished to please Arab/Muslim countries than that would be the ticket! As someone who has studied the Old Testament, Darkmoon, you should know better than anyone! ..

Darkmoon, it's not so much what he does, it's what he doesn't do. Little instances and so-called "coincidences" start to add up. It doesn't help that him and his administration seem to be doing everything in their power to aid Muslim communities. (At the expense of others!)

"When Obama set off to visit the victims of Hurricane Irene, instead of visiting the American victims who had lost their homes and possessions-- he headed off to Paterson, New Jersey. Paterson is known as 'Paterstine' for a reason, it's home to the second largest Arab community after Dearborn, and concentrating his visit there sends a message. And it's the same message that has been sent over and over again. Muslims come first."
"Obama's decision to shut down the space program by terminating the shuttle and its replacement vehicle, combined with the loss of the Russian space freighter, means that the International Space Station may have to be abandoned. But as Obama's new NASA administrator Charles Bolden said, the new priority is Muslim outreach. We may not have a space program anymore, but NASA has partnered with Saudi Arabia on "lunar and asteroid science research".
"The Obama Administration has eliminated the Park Service's 'Save America's Treasures" program, but there's always money for Islam. While the old outdated jingoistic National Park Services was concerned with the United States, the new NPS gives money to the Medina of Tunis, an adjacent Islamic school and a Muslim pilgrimage site in Turkmenistan."
"Dhimmitude on page 107 of the Health Care Bill.

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam.ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking", and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this."
These are just four of many, many incidents over the course of his presidency. It can only go on for so long before coincidence becomes concern, and by all means it is cause for concern. The Islamic doctrine is all about submission. (That's what the word Islam literately means.) It's about infiltrating non-believer territories and making them submit to Islam. Sometimes by war, sometimes by subtle changes. (Like the ones we are seeing here.) Just look what has happened to France! Hell, all of Europe, while we are at it!

You can laugh and call me crazy, but as someone who has studied the Bible and the Qur'an, you just know the signs. I know Snopes.com probably has a page dedicated to "debunking" almost all of my claims, but I wouldn't trust them. Like Wikipedia, they are very biased. Also, they are heavily funded by George Soros, who, surprise-surprise, has ties to the Obama administration.

All I need to know is this: according to the Bible, the god of this world is Satan, the father of lies. So, it's no surprise that there is deception everywhere; religion, politics, the internet (haha), Thank God for God and His Word that allows it's followers to divide truth and fiction.

...yeah, I don't even know where to start. You seem intent on lynching the dude based on cincidences, legislation he didn't have full control over since he's not a Senator or Congressman. Even I know that, and I'm not American (although my wife has explained it a few times...). Although I do seem to recall that last being constitutional. Free worship and all.

          By these standards, I'm pretty sure I can prove everyone, everywhere is really a Muslim. Including you, most ministers and priests and the Pope. But I disagree with you very, very strongly on religion, as we both already know, and so won't bother with that bit. I will say a couple of things though;

          1) Muslims may be allowed to lie - they are not allowed to sin. Drinking alcohol is a sin. And he does that a fair bit. He also apparently eats bacon, which is a pretty sever no-no too.

          2) The splitting of Juresalem has been pretty much supported by most nations for goodness only knows how long. I'm not sure how it'll work in reality, but the truth is the Jews aren't leaving and the Muslims will go to war if someone tries to take them off the Temple Mount. And the last thing we need is countries with Nukes and a grudge getting into a fight.

          3) He certainly isn't the only Christian in the world to believe that everyone is gonna be saved, not just a small selection of the population.

          4) As I understand it, Islam doesn't mean Submission - it means Submission to God.

But, yeah, whacked out topic is getting whacky.

Like I sad before: coincidences are no longer coincidences when they start piling up, one after the other.

legislation he didn't have full control over since he's not a Senator or Congressman. Even I know that, and I'm not American (although my wife has explained it a few times...).

Nonsense. President Obama seems to love executive orders and overriding congress/the senate. There is no legislation he can't control/change if he doesn't want to. (Whether or not it's a smart political move is another question.)

By these standards, I'm pretty sure I can prove everyone, everywhere is really a Muslim. Including you, most ministers and priests and the Pope.

            How so?

But I disagree with you very, very strongly on religion, as we both already know, and so won't bother with that bit.

I know that, and I wasn't trying to derail the conversation. I just know that you are an Old Testament believer, so your position on Israel surprised me.

            1) Muslims may be allowed to lie - they are not allowed to sin. Drinking alcohol is a sin. And he does that a fair bit. He also apparently eats bacon, which is a pretty sever no-no too.

Lying is also a sin according to the Qur'an. Bit of a contradiction on their part, huh? (The Qur'an is full of them.) Again, those verses allow Muslims to act as non-believers. (Such as the drinking and having prostitutes demonstrated by the 9/11 hijackers.) So, if Obama drinks beer and eats bacon and that proves he's "not a Muslim" to decieve people, than the Qur'an allows that. You see the thing is, both Muslims and politicians are liars. Makes for a confusing individual.

            2) The splitting of Jerusalem has been pretty much supported by most nations for goodness only knows how long.

Yes, but not OUR nation. Up until now, the US has always been an ally of Israel. Mark my words, you will see our country turn on Israel. It's Bible prophecy.

I'm not sure how it'll work in reality, but the truth is the Jews aren't leaving and the Muslims will go to war if someone tries to take them off the Temple Mount. And the last thing we need is countries with Nukes and a grudge getting into a fight.

Don't worry, Israel isn't going anywhere. Any country opposing Israel will be destroyed. Again, Bible prophecy. ;)

            3) He certainly isn't the only Christian in the world to believe that everyone is gonna be saved, not just a small selection of the population.

No, collective salvation is "salvation through means of a group". Meaning, you're not saved if you believe in Jesus Christ alone. You have to convince groups of people. Totally un-bibilical.

            4) As I understand it, Islam doesn't mean Submission - it means Submission to God

Only according to select "Muslim apologists". Islam does in fact mean submission in terms of war. Just look at their track record, it speaks for itself.

But, yeah, whacked out topic is getting whacky.

Getting too whacky, or getting to REAL for ya?! (Haha, just kidding, just kidding. )

You should be dependent on Europe...or rather, the UK.

It's only a matter of time before you'll be singing, 'God Save the Queen' and 'Rule Britannia' American minions...

Considering how much coverage the royal wedding got over here, you'd almost think we never broke away from England in the first place.

I wouldn't recommend it. MoS went toe-to-toe with Gray Fox on reH about the Bible for TWO YEARS in the same topic. He does not relent, he is a machine. You will get WoT'd till your brain implodes.

I really didn't want to comment about the debate raging in this thread, but this post just irked me. How does any of that give you the right to laugh? Is it just because you think you're somehow better than someone else? Is that it?

The last time I checked, disagreeing with someone doesn't make you a better or worse individual. It just makes you different.
