Well his ROUTINE (a.k.a. GIMMICK) is that of acting like an old fart that is forced to play videogames and then trying to make sense of the insanity prevalent in them.

Therefore, I wasn't saying he was any of those things. Only that he ACTS like that... merely for laughs.

With Revelations 2 on the horizon we have to ask ourselves where will the story go from here. Will it be set before or after RE6 and will Jill and Chris continue to be prominent characters?

Perhaps they could focus on other characters like Claire, but if Jessica and Raymond show up at any point it would be nice to have Chris and Jill involved in a bid to put a stop to the T-abyss once and for all.

My guess is if that Revelations 2 is in dev, then it will be a RE7 prelude of RE6 side story.

If they continue to take the story in the well-armed BSAA military shooter direction, I don't see how they wouldn't be featured characters. I sincerely hope not, though - the series has been too oversaturated with them as of late. I'm hoping for a Claire-led Revelations 2. I'm also hoping for a story that isn't connected to the first Revelations whatsoever, kind of like what they did with Survivor and Dead Aim. The only original character in Revelations that I liked was Parker, anyway.

It would be awesome, but I wouldn't want it for the 3DS. Claire and/or Jill need a game on home consoles.

They'd also have to do more changes to the character models or have it take place after RE5 so that Jill and Claire won't look too similar with their ponytails.

Aside from HUNK I guess Claire, Wesker, Krauser (you know the whole RE Mercenearies cast from 3DS game) and maybe someone from RE6.
