PROJECT Umbrella - The BIOHAZARD/RESIDENT EVIL Compendium
Their struggle for existence is over for the time being. But a sin violating sanctuary isn't forgiven. This is not just an end. This is the end of a beginning.
i remeber hearing that the T03 Tyants often went out of control still thow it seems a bit silly to have it attack Lopa and not the others i hope they they dont kill it to easy is well that would be disappointing
one of the things i loved about the trailer... the gas prices. they are effin' looooow. O_O
We've seen tyrants turn on Umbrella employees since RE1.
But in the case of ORC I heard about a mission where you fight Nemesis and essentially have to reprogram him in the process to attack STARS members once more. At that point he abandons his chain gun and leaves with the rocket launcher to attacks STARS members. I forgot the specifics of the mission, but we'll know for sure when the game is out.
It's said in one of the earlier trailers that "he won't discriminate", so there you go. Also aren't Tyrants like infamous for turning on their "allies"? (RE1 with Wesker if you want to count it, the T-103 in End of the Road in Outbreak, etc)
lol wut.... Reprogram?...... Ohhh god.

GameInformer doesn't always get the facts right, so take it as is until the game comes out.
This bioharzardous assassin is malfunctioning when we encountered him. fortunately, we had previously extracted a controlling agent from a tyrant, which we now inject into nemesis' bloodstream.....abomination fires a devastating gatling gun at us. after absorbing enough ammo he titan topples coming back under umbrellas influence. He drops the mini-gun, picks up his trade mark rocket launcher, and wanders off into the city while groaning STARS

In all likelihood it's probably a reference to Nemesis using a rail gun in the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Not the first time a reference from the films was pulled into the games.

To be honest a chaingun seems more logical than a rocket launcher anyway.
Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."
Well I figured that, but I mean, where the hell did he actually get it? This cutscene shows him waking up with the rocket launcher: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04jLIrXhrsw. As you said though, it's probably just a dumb reference to the movies, so whatever.
For all we know that scene follows after the battle. We see him ordered to target STARS by that point.
The only thing that will redeem this game is if at the end of the game it is revealed that the whole game was just a simulation. Kind of how Big Shell was to Shadow Moses in MGS series.
A Mazda 6 in 1998? LOL.
Knifing a Licker to death? LOL again.
Stock and optics on the hardware? LOL thrice.
Please, god, let it be a simulator.
the guy above is being stupid so its got a car from 2001 in it who cars they probably didn't/don't have cloning technology It's a game and a dam good one , stop complaining
It's a game where the designers are too damned lazy to check to see if the cars and guns they're using existed when the game was made...repeatedly. There's about five different cars alone like that, and all the Special Forces guns I believe. Let alone checking to make sure the stuff they're doing even remotely fits the games they're supposed to be setting it in...which, really, does not speak highly of the games quality.
Tyrants are not controlled through chemicals. No B.O.W. is. Both the T-103 and Nemesis are prevented from going out of control by their limiter coats. If they go out of control anyway, what's the point? More unnecessary contradictions and lack of reading comprehension. Keep fucking that chicken, Slant Six.
You heard wrong. T-103s were considered masterpieces because they were easily controlled. They wouldn't be Umbrella's top product if they killed everyone and went out of control after stepping on a nail. It's only when their limiter coat is removed that they go nuts. The one in ORC is wearing the coat, which makes him going out of control completely fucking stupid. I doubt Slant Six are smart enough to use a "malfunctioning unit" or "bad batch" excuse to explain it either. The only Tyrants in the series to screw over their allies are T-002 (a prototype, intentionally released), Tyrant R (a prototype, control unit malfunctioned) and Hypnos-T Type (a prototype, accidentally released early before control was ever placed on it). Spot the correlation?i remeber hearing that the T03 Tyants often went out of control still thow it seems a bit silly to have it attack Lopa and not the others i hope they they dont kill it to easy is well that would be disappointing
How.To be honest a chaingun seems more logical than a rocket launcher anyway.
Yet another contradiction, as we already know the entire backstory behind Nemesis. See;For all we know that scene follows after the battle. We see him ordered to target STARS by that point.
Nemesis's half-cyborg, movie-inspired nature in this game is just another example of pointless changes made by Slant Six which contradict established information, out of sheer ignorance.Q2. By what method was the Pursuer flung into Raccoon City?
A2. It was taken in by a private carrier like the helicopter that airlifted Tyrant. Incidentally, Hunters and the like were transported overland due to the large number.
Q4. How did the Pursuer ascertain S.T.A.R.S. members?
A4. The team which developed the Pursuer was also in charge of education, and the officials had it memorize photographs and visual materials of S.T.A.R.S. members. The Pursuer is intelligent so it will carry out any instructions through understanding.

Whoa there Newsbot, save some of that hatred for when the game comes out ;)
Some people have this weird notion that in every Resident Evil game the creation gets out of control and kills its creator, I never understood why, some even complain that "it happens in every game, it's a boring cliche of the series". It's like they played two games and that was it, which in Slant Six case doesn't seem too far from the thruth.
if T-103 suffers serious injury it will mutate then it will lose all control i'm just glad there is at least one in the game its one of the best Tyant models my worry is that will make him/them to weak a Tyant like that should be able to withstand heavy damage thanks to its regenerative abilities
