Wesker's body isn't around for anyone to duplicate even through that. That is probably why they want Jake to begin with, but it would be duplicates of Jake, not Wesker.

Isnt the point that we believe that they are the same? I mean like, there is no even point of discussing if Ada has a clone or not, the guy who leaked the stuff was right and the name Carla Radames surfaced in the trailer already.

Also despite the recent trend in VG official site of giving away the surprises via file naming and page source coding, it doesnt mean CAPCOM has to do it too

Yes, blood or body. I doubt it matters. And I doubt they would be able to obtain or even use dried up, coagulated drips of blood.

Even if you listen to Simmons' talking to the real Ada, it makes the whole "clone" business pretty obvious. Add to that the fact that Carla Radames, already confirmed to be an Ada "clone" (more like double), has now been confirmed.
