Anyone import doujinshi?

As the topic title says, I'm just wondering if anyone else on here imports doujinshi/fan manga/fan comics?

If so, just wondering if anyone has heard of a circle called "B-Sting" or even the artists' of the following names: Midori Oukubo and Mahiro Nouno? (Mahiro also was using "Kaburagi Mahiro" in 2008 and they were also linking to Wolfina (sub-section "Snake Heart"), if I recall correctly which was also linked back to B-Sting at a point).

They used to have a site (http://www17.ocn.ne.jp/~b-sting/) and had a lot of decent Biohazard, Devil May Cry doujinshi.

An example of their work would be this Outbreak one up on eBay called
"Return to Dead Zone" or even one of the DMC one's called "Devil Gimlet".

I'm having some trouble trying to find an old one from 1998 that also had RE1 in it and was just wondering about some other places to look online to try and find the bloody thing as there were tons of copies floating around in 2007 and 2008 and now I can't seem to find it. DX

A lot of the Final Fantasy ones I've seen on eBay always seem to be some crude, male-on-male pairing, and I realize this is technically yoai, but the seller lists it as a doujinshi.

I know Wolfina has had her drawings in a few of these; do you know/have any with her work, Enetirnel? I'm interested to see what kind of work she's put out in the recent years. She doesn't seem to update her site at all anymore, but I know she does art because I from time to time stumble across a Resident Evil 5 piece or one I've never seen before.

I have a great one, Wesker being the manipulative bastard he is snaps a photo of Jill in the shower after a mission, he then threatens to show the picture to the entire STARS team unless she has sex ith Barry while Wesker watches. Barry goes along with this because he is also being blackmailed by Wesker, so it all fits into the games story, the writer was very clever. Chris walks in while the two are doing it though and he runs off crying, the story ends on a cliffhanger with Chris swearing to hunt down Wesker, once again tying into the games.

Sometimes you have either stupid sellers OR those that are listing them as doujinshi to avoid being removed due to adult content, or even particular types of doujinshi (for instance, we can have a yaoi doujinshi that's type is that characters that are essentially "legal age" in their original content but have been redrawn to look like children that end up getting raped or something).

There are actual guides with proper lists of types of crap to watch out for whenever importing or even buying doujinshi in Japan.

In the past, from what I recall a lot of listings were being removed due to adult content and ended up getting relisted as doujinshi. Same goes with manga and doujinshi being intercepted by customs and people being fined for "child pornography" and other crap simply due to the art style.

It also depends on the seller, there's one that has a ton of Biohazard/Resident Evil ones and had barely any yaoi or yuri ones in any of the catagories and had a decent amount of great quality Final Fantasy ones (I like looking at the Final Fantasy VIII ones that go over the main game or NPC stories). In contrast to another seller that I tend to see on there, this other seller tends to only sell yaoi, yuri all the way to the completely adult content types.

Anyway, enough about that.

I'm quite sure at least one of the Devil May Cry ones was a joint work between her and B-Sting (being an actual group one), though I think some of the S.T.A.R.S. Survival Guide ones may have some of her art on there (I recognized one of Wesker in one of the higher numbered/newer ones and I could have sworn I saw the picture on Wolfina's site ages ago).

I think she's in another one of the circles but isn't really listed as a member, I've seen her work. I just haven't bought it because it always gets listed at crazy prices or the bidders got absolutely batshit when they realize she's contributed to something (like either being listed for $90 or from starting at a small price and ending up going for well over $100 USD).

Don't get me wrong, I happen to like her work. Just it gets a little too much (that and I'm not really collecting Biohazard doujinshi unless it's particular ones I'm interested in). I'd have a look around to see if you can find her listed in any scanlations (I know some people were uploading her stuff without permission and she got pretty upset) or if you can recognize her style, you should be able to work out which groups she's with. But one of the ones I do think she does some stuff for from time to time is with those S.T.A.R.S. Survival Guides.

I know there's more than just the RE5 one floating around in her newer stuff, I think she may also be using another name for things released at Comic Market/Comiket but again, can't really do anything until we get an actual list of either doujin circles or aliases.

I don't collect the hentai ones, the ones I currently have are all ones that are either going along with the plot or are parody types.


^ Some of my Clock Tower doujinshi, the one on the bottom-right is actually the oldest one I have and was made mid-97 and the newest is on the bottom-left, which came from Comiket 80 last year.

The other two are mixed ones, the one on the top-left is a Gamest Comics horror video game anthology called "Nightmare Syndrome" which also features the Twilight, Moonlight Syndrome games, Torico, House of the Dead in addition to Clock Tower.

Then it gets bit clusterfuck-ish with all of the artists' kind of scribbling all into the one little comic.

But I'm just currently focused on getting Clock Tower or Demento/Haunting Ground doujinshi. I do know the title of one Demento hentai called "Demento no Manga" and there's also a Capcom special in a particular hentai magazine that had also included Demento (as well as Biohazard, particularly Biohazard 4 and Street Fighter) but from what I recall, it also had some nice unrelated artwork of Hewie and some area art too.

Though, again - I don't actually have those ones as I've never seen them up for sale.

Only ones depicting real sexualization of child characters, though the law also mentioned small-breasted women. I'm not like a D-cup myself, so I find it to be bit of a fucking joke there (as do many others' that don't have giant boobs).

And the law is not Federal nation-wide, it purely pertains to South Australia but there is an actual zero tolerance policy regarding children depicted.

The doujinshi I have, have no sexual content in it and the only ones that do are adult characters (such as Cammy) being shown posing or nipples detailed under the clothing.

And if you'd like me to show you, I'm actually scanning in the Endless Nightmare one at the moment but I've got some scans of Nightmare Syndrome, the Fight one and the Clock Tower Prologue (which I've already cleaned and translated).

Well it was to my misfortune to have cone across a particular hentai online that was practically word for word bar the photo and Chris. I had assumed you had seen or read it from your post.

From what I've seen, the the Biohazard ones tend to be focused on the characters. Though a lot of the hentai ones are as Xander mentioned, listed just as doujinshi instead of what it should be.



Anyway, if anyone had any suggestions or recommended sites and/or services that might stock older doujinshi like the one I'm looking for, that would be a great help.

The issue being is that there's another doujinshi of the same name for something entirely different. 13 THIRTEEN has Biohazard, Clock Tower and Clock Tower 2 in it from what I'm aware of it.

I also finished my post requesting any sites or services that may actually help me locate doujinshi by the B-Sting circle as they aren't listed on the main online stores that are linked on Japanese deputy services.

And considering that I actually responded to you with examples and have been trying to curb jokes and other crap by trying to get back on topic, it really wasn't needed.

Anyway.

Xander, have you looked into any doujinshi aside from Wolfina? If I see any of her work with ones I may end up picking up, I'll be sure to let you know.
