I'm seriously running out of room. I don't know if I should upgrade to something bigger or just keep stuffing things in there...

My metal weapons are now in my 2nd cabinet with my games, books, comics and guides etc. I'm waiting on another bundle from HK before I take more pics of that.

That is one nice glass cabnet, wished I could find one like that on the cheap.
My non-variant palisades leon came in today, after 2 weeks, the seller e-mailed me saying that he forgot to post the item after waiting 5 days, still it came in very good condition, so thats the main thing.
I also picked up a palisades william statue, missed out on one back in December and with only 400 in this little world, I thought i'd have to wait ages to see another one, until I found one on ebay.com. It's number is 396/400.
I can't wait to put him with the U.C version of William, in England the U.C William doesn't come out until the 27th of Feb, so I should get both statues in time , now its on to getting last min gifts for Valentines day

I don't really check ebay very often any more. I've become disheartened with it. There's just too many damn people collecting RE stuff now and ebay is the first place they look. It's becoming near impossible to find any sort of bargain.

The last 2 ebay auctions I was outbid on, I checked the activity of the winning bidder. Over the previous couple of weeks the winner had been buying all the games, guides and figures etc. I mean EVERYTHING! So it was obviously someone with a shitload of cash who just suddenly decided to buy every single RE game and collectible they could find. That's just annoying!
I don't mind losing out to someone who deserves it but some rich noob who probably dosn't even know what he's buying and hasn't spent years looking for it (like we have) dosn't deserve it...
But that's life, I guess. Money talks.

I've got a pretty good idea what most things are worth and when the bidding goes high above that, I just forget about it.

The statue cost me a cool £118/$160 inc postage. Its much cheaper then what I was going to pay for one at a local convention which comes my way every summer and for the past two years they've had a william statue for £180/$260, but always passed the chance up. So this year I was going to buy it, until I found the one on ebay, so end of story, along with a happy ending. For once I feel i've spent over £100 on something worth it, unlike a small figure for once
The only statue that I really want to get now is Marvin, now i'd like to know how many of him there are in the world.
Getting outbided is the worst thing on ebay, I have to admit I am a sniper (bid at the last second) on that site because its the only way to win anything and at a cheaper price, thank god to my Internet connection I can bid with at least 12secs to go.

Well, I got the Neca Executioner free with RE5. Now I need to buy Sheva and Chris. Surprisingly there aren't many on ebay yet. But that should hopefully change in the next few days and weeks. Playasia have sold out of Chris and Sheva (not sure if they will get more).

The 'sand globe' can be bought on ebay for about $20. It will cost a lot more than that to send it to Aus... I'm still undecided.

I also ordered the giant Chainsaw ganado by Hot Toys because I saw it for $70 (it's usually over $100)

The Hobby Model group has released some new figures. I just ordered these 2.
$24 each (or $12 unpainted).
The G monster from Degeneration looks awesome. I don't really know why I bought the RE4 Leon figure too.

All the JB HI FI stores in town now will not let anyone have a free figurine unless it is on pre order so that they can have prime pick, and of coarse that means that the Executioner is gonna be the first to go imo as everywhere else he is not available or they are reserved for pre orders. As mentioned before, I lucked out and a nice guy at JB gave me both the Chris and Sheva figurines when I purchased RE 5, as there were clearly a lot of both of these characters at the time, but now it seems that they are scarce.

I think what I will do eventually is actually buy all three when they come out on retail and keep them in the packets as collectables, and keep the free ones out on my shelves to look at and admire, and try to hunt down a free Executioner or offer to buy it off someone in JB.

Damn you Skunky! My collection also specializes in figures, and I have most of them. Unfortunatly, you have more figures than any collection I've seen yet lol. Everyday I wake up I like to stand in front of my collection and bath in my glory, but I just got physically sick looking at your collection because of all figures you have that I still need to collect I love the background posters, very nice touch. I also like the shelf, it gives you plenty of space for some of the bigger figures/statues. I myself need to find a new shelf just because it's too small, and my nemesis statue keeps falling off the cheap ass thing. Hopefully my collection will pick back up when I get another job lol. Do you know when the RE5 figs come out? They better make a damn wesker figure this time, seeing that the game is partially based on him.

Yup, having a job helps... I was also lucky that I bought a lot of them many years ago, before all the prices went sky high. I remember getting my MD Nemesis type2 for about $15-$20. There were 4 of them, so if I was a smarter businessman I could have grabbed a few and later sold them for hundreds of $$$ profit. But I just buy what I want, open them and add them to my collection.

Having literally all the characters would be awesome but it would cost like two grand to buy them all lol. I also rip all my figures out of the package as soon as possible, I just don't have the will power to resist

Birdwoman figure should have a removable cloak and mask so we also get a battlesuit Jill. We should get her and Wesker with lots of articulation next but I don't know what the third figure should be.

I've often thought about making dioramas.
Yes, it's very nerdy... I know that. But I've always liked looking at them.
There are SO many cool scenes from all the RE games that would look awesome to recreate, by using various RE figures and custom model making.
There's a LOT of time and effort involved but maybe one day I'll have both (time & effort).
