Anyway as a side note thought this might interest someone, I was keen til I saw I'd be 89$ postage to the UK. Who knows how much it'll finish at and *gasp* no boxes (!) but Wesker is there and as the only Wesker (save for the RE5 version) it's worth it for him alone although the rest are pretty damn desireable . . .

Good point, Tho the Hottoys ones are fantastic.

I guess you could say prior to say RE5, wesker wasnt really cool enough looking to make a figure of perhaps?? (well he was buy you know what I mean, the matrix jacket and all a nice touch)

I contacted NECA a few months ago to see WTF is up with the series 2 of the RE5 figures never coming out. I finally recieved a response that said "There are currently no plans to release another wave of Resident Evil figures. Check back with us later".

Crap. My dreams of a Neca Wesker figure are dead, If they were only going to make one series they should have replaced the Executioner with Wesker. Than again, maybe they just didn't sell well?

That sucks. But yeah I don't think they sold well. I went to FYE not long ago and they had all 3 of them there and they all looked like shit. The Executioner was the best looking one and even he still didn't look to good. Just save up for one of the Hot Toy Weskers.

The Executioner figure was by far the best of the three, if anything should have dumped the Chris and Sheva figures for other enemies.

Yea I agree Chris and Sheva were poor quality but obviously they wouldn't substitute the stars of the game for enemies, which is pretty unfortunate. I was hoping series 2 would include Wesker, a Reaper and a Tribal Majini. As for the Archives figures, I have no clue...it really wouldn't suprise me if they said the hell with the rest of them lol.

Hi guys! I'm new here but I've happily read all 43 pages of this thread and tought there wouldnt be too much harm in reviving it since it seemed to be quite popular. Alot of great pictures here so I thought I'd contribute (this maybe should've gone in the collection thread but it's quite figure specific). Oh, and click on the pictures if you wanna see them bigger!


My meager little figure collection since Palisades are monstrously expensive (over a 100 dollars for Wesker) and NECA's traditional annoying principle of only making about 3 figures for every license they get if it's not related to Predator.

In comparison you can kinda see that it's a bit of an improvement..




Custom Leon, preposed figures are evil and NECA's Leon figure was the devil himself.




The Moby Dick NEMESIS is a beast. Reading this thread there seems to be more love for Type 2 Nemmy which I don't understand since this is clearly the more iconic look and since type 2 is basically Nemesis without a coat.

Moby Dick Nemesis may be a bit too big but Nemesis' scale varies greatly. He's not as tall in RE3 as he is in Marvel VS Capcom 3 for instance. I think he can get away with it. Palisades Nemesis sculpt is nowhere near as good as the Moby Dick one.


Finally a WIP Wesker figure. I honestly can't believe only Palisades made Wesker, and even then their figure was quite off the mark. The prototype looked absolutely perfect but the finished product ended up with a really thick face. Something still looks a bit eh with the overal head shape of this one though, any input would be happily taken!


It's still in a really early process, the hair is crap for instance and I need a new body. Still unsure what outfit I should make him in. I settled for the CVX outfit but then again I love his S.T.A.R.S. outfit. RE5 is my least favourite.

I'd totally go for an affordable Wesker, but the NECA series for RE1 Anniversary and RE5 both skipped him. Stupid. The Hot Toys versions are so over priced.
