Yeah, back then they used to spray paint regular ganados and put them back in their box and sell for them more. the real bloody ganados have a etched number in the back of the box i think. There was no more than 500 made due to the fact that fake ones were selling as well.

I have an error packaged Ada Wong from Neca that i recieved through capcom online back in 2005 during the RE4 PS2 order in October. I call it a misprint though. Only about 100 or so are made that way and were only found during the capcom online pre-order. when the 1st press ran out. they issued a 2nd press that contained Ada Wong instead of Leon S. Kennedy, but only Ada had the error in the packaging. Never saw one sell on Ebay though.

I had the real one then. I traded it away for 2 Neca Leons (RPD, Shirt) a few random figs. and some $$.

I posted about this in the features thread relating to the NECa series 2 but I'll ask here aswell. Where's the best place to get them and does anywhere offer all 5 together? Up until now I've stuck to ebay but it's gonna be a while before I see this lot as cheap as I got Series 1 I assure you . . .

It's gonna be hard to get a set of 5 cause the Labcoat is an exclusive therefore scalpers are most likely gonna go nuts with him. You can get the 4 set at Cornerstore Comics for $44.99 that's where I ordered mine.

I didn't know the Labcoat is an exclusive. I pre-ordered a set of 5 a couple of months ago (Labcoat included). Paid $59, I figured was okay at about $12 a figure. Postage is the big extra, when ordering from here in Aus. That's why I prefer to get them all at once rather than look for individual ones and pay the postage each time ($30 to get the set sent over, while a single figure would cost about $20 postage).
I got series 1 from the same ebay seller so I don't expect any probs
If anyone wants to know the seller just ask me in an email.

Is the Moby Dick Type-1 released on its own different from the one in the box with carlos?

Also, there is a version of carlos -nemesis I, where they are both bloodied. It's just red paint sprayed on like the Ganado. I saw one of ebay for like like $300 US sealed, then looked to mine to see that it was bloodied. I had of course opened the set, so you might find it hard to believe me. AFAIK this was the only MD figs with the 'bloodied' variant.
My ones are in Australia. I can ask family for pics, but it might take a while.

I collected and opened ALL the MD sets. (except chris tyrant, as they were singles. Didnt bother with the bronzes etc. either). If you build Nemesis 3 it's actually missing one spine! It was a pain to build. Very shonky construction. Didn't fit together well. PAints dont line up etc. Differing shades. Can anyone tell me what bonus Nemmy-1 solo comes with? And if they know, Chris-Tyrant?

Yeah the Nemy was released in a single card. Limited Edition Ver, he came with all the stuff from the boxset that was included for him.

I've heard about it and seen alot of pics so it may be true. I've even seen people sell Type-1 that were blooday and didn't even label it as that. Maybe it's just a varaint that's not all that big a deal.

I am really glad i got the Type-3 repaint cause it is the best fig in my collection. So far from what I've heard the BAF ver was just bad.
