Now that's interesting...
I bought the PSN version of Resident Evil 3 Nemesis not too long ago and became curious when I read this thread.
Yes, it is indeed censored, the flying heads are gone.
In the PSN release of the game whenever Jill kicks a Zombie's head it doesn't even disappear, it just turns slightly red, that's it.
My US PS1 version (the one that came with a Dino Crisis Demo) does have the flying heads, though...
EDIT:
It does not! I just checked again, to be sure, and the one that came with a DC Demo is also censored!
Sorry about this...

There was blood in the kitchen, there was blood in the hall,
There was blood on the staircase where the lady did fall.
That's correct! The first U.S. release of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis with Dino Crisis demo on PS1 is 100% uncensored. The second version of Resident Evil 3 without Dino Crisis demo on black jewel case PS1 is semi-uncensored and is the same as the Greatist Hits version (Heads of zombies don't fly off when kicked by Jill).
Any one want to post their ISO version of the first copy of Resident Evil 3 with Dino Crisis demo they have for download?
I mean to post it on Emulator forum. -No Linking to Emulation Sites Please-

I'm confused as I thought I had the first release of Resident Evil 3 for the states?
But my version doesn't have a Dino Crisis demo. It's erm.... (looks)

Please do not link to emulation forums. Thanks.
Nope, no decaps here on this version. Was there ever a version then? I don't even have leg removal here, just very blooded legs.
Amazing how your memory decieves you - sorry for getting it wrong.

As I've already said once in this thread, the one with the DC demo was not the first release.
First: http://crimson-ceremony.net/lostrele...e_re3-ps1-usa1
Second: http://crimson-ceremony.net/lostrele...e_re3-ps1-usa2
GH: http://crimson-ceremony.net/lostrele...e_re3-ps1-usa3
Further, the contents on all these three RE3 discs are exactly the same.
Yeah they are, the SLUS number confirms it, my copy is the very first release then.

Anders, first, I want you to play and check out the version of Resident Evil 3 with Dino Crisis demo and see if the zombie's head fly off after being kicked by Jill... Then check and play the single-disc version of Resident Evil 3 (either black lable or Greatest Hits) and see if the zombie's head flies off after kicked by Jill. If you don't believe me, then ask Upaluppa who has the Resident Evil 3 with Dino Crisis demo version and [S.T.A.R.S.]TyranT who has the single disc version of RE3.
I don't see how they can be different when the disc pressing has exactly the same code, it's the same game. If it was re-issued or re-burned with a new copy it would have to be registered under a new code.
