It is excellent work. I'd like to talk about the concept behind super human protagonists. Sherry in particular given the topic. Because while the idea that she's not superhuman is far out it should be delved into for how she'll reflect the rest of the series.
I mean just think of the powers? What can G do for her in RE6 and what kinds of developments will accommodate the game design.

I'm currently watching that series, but not fully familiar with the characters. How would she relate to Sherry and her G abilities?
Here's what it can do for her:
One of the two, or both. We've yet to see her punch anything above her body weight, so for now all we have is a magazine's word that she supposedly has, at the very least, superior healing ability. Magazines also said that Barry was a fireman, Sherry was Ada's daughter and Gaiden was supposedly canon and related to BH4, so take what you will! After administration, it affects a creature's cells and bestows superior vitality and regeneration ability.

Their struggle for existence is over for the time being. But a sin violating sanctuary isn't forgiven. This is not just an end. This is the end of a beginning.
It would kind of ruin Firefly/Serenity if I told you but...
Spoiler:
Also, I think it would be neat if one of Sherry's abilities included being able to control other infected organisms, a la Saddler in RE4. I think she's going to discover her powers during RE6.

Cant, seems you drank it all.
Well, now that the series is going to be relying on super human heroes I guess its going the 'Revengence' route from this point on. Makes me sad as I preferred human characters as super human ones are harder to deal with due to the lack of their 'limitations'.
I know that human strength will always be a theme of the series, but that can change depending on sales.

You see and that could play heavily on the trauma of her character. Maybe not so much of an experiment like say Jill Valentine, but the hardships of being considered a "freak" to humanity as opposed to a form of evolution; looking at her powers of regeneration and superior vitality to go against evil. They could play it just like X-men if they introduce more mutants to fight against the villains. We have Jake, and that gives us a few more means. Hell if Jill's abilities didn't come at the expense of being brainwashed then it would be great to see her fighting alongside them.

And the hating begins, settle down.
Its not ignorance to not like the more action driven focus of the game, nor is it really ignorance to not know all the facts about the series when so many chunks of it aren't actually in the game but on books, 'report' dvds, and other misc formats. Especially when quite a few are sold only in Japan and are still getting updates on the translations.
If my single opinion bothers you, it shouldn't. I'm not forcing you to accept it, you dont have to agree with it.I sure as hell don't agree with yours but I'm not damning you for it.
Until such time as my opinion does more than upsets you, maybe causes leprosy , you'll just have to live with the fact that someone doesn't agree with you.
Ah, but what a fanfic it would be. I've read some great post-RE5 Jill ones, but sadly she never kept her powers. Just the blonde hair. Sherry (and Jake for that matter) have the burden of carrying the sins of their father's past as weight on their shoulders. They have influenced them directly and indirectly and now they have to balance out the evil the two left behind. It's a marvelous story arc and one that should provide vast enjoyment.
No hating going on, just pointing out that you are willfully ignorant. Nobody said it was ignorant to not like the action focus, and I don't even actually like it that much, there is a lot I would change about it. Yes, it is ignorance if you openly ignore (this word might be significant) facts handed to you. I don't care for your opinion, but if you come into a topic and attempt to discuss, you are expected to actually read the topic. Otherwise your opinion on the topic means very little. And the hating begins, settle down.

I'm glad there's no hate or prejudice to the point where anyone is asked to leave the topic. Let's stay on topic people.

The topic is basically about the transition from human characters to super human characters and why its not a bad thing, right?
The discussion on Sherry Birkin possibly being super human isn't old, nor is it mind boggling news that shes a super human BOW as most of these thoughts have been glanced over for years.
I don't really need to read your opening discussion to not have an opinion on the matter. Its obvious you support the concept, or else you wouldn't have made a topic pointing out it isnt a new concept.
I'm more interested in what other members have to say about it as I already know what your opinion is.
The abilities of the G virus haven't been explored successfully so that has caught my attention, cant help but wonder when shes gonad start mutating though.

I don't fully support the concept, I just pointed out that it isn't new. Which it isn't. If you had paid attention to any of my prior posts in many other topics, I'm actually quite critical of the action-focus. Which you would know if you bothered reading, so don't even try and tell me what my opinion is, I would happen to know that better than you. This thread isn't a soapbox for you to vent your frustrations about the gameplay. Create a new topic for that.
This is explained in the first post. The abilities of the G virus haven't been explored successfully so that has caught my attention, cant help but wonder when shes gonad start mutating though.
Protip: Its abilities have been explored, and she will never mutate.
