None of that actually says anything. Leon's opinion means diddly...again, professional spy who is likely trained to manipulate people's feelings. And just because Ada feels giving the Master Plagas sample to her organization isn't evil doesn't mean it isn't - to invoke Godwin's, most nazis thought they were doing the right thing. Since we have no idea what they wanted it for and if she knows what it is (as far as I know, we know neither)

Ada's report also doesn't really say much...about the best you can say is she chose Luis Sera because of his humanity. That doesn't really swing her good or evil. It could mean she thinks he'll be easier to manipulate, although it probably doesn't.

When a source says outright that she isn't evil and justifies her actions, chances are, she isn't evil. Ada's Report and Separate Ways in general say quite a lot. Why would an evil character ride off into the sunset, something which only occurs for the series protagonists? Also, Luis found Ada to be good enough to request her to take him into custody after she told him who she really was. He's not the type to forward evil agendas.

It also doesn't make any sense for Ada to chastise every other evil character in the series if she ends up doing the exact same things.

To be fair, without knowing the nature of her organization, it is difficult to tell. But so far, nothing points to her being malevolent. On the other hand, virtually everything points to her being benevolent. Her words, actions and other characters' opinions of her heavily imply that she is good. Being mysterious due to being a spy does not really change that. She hasn't murdered a single person in the series thus far, suddenly she murders thousands?

None of those sources said that she isn't evil. She claimed she wasn't. But we don't know for sure she isn't deluded. Leon thought she wasn't. None actually said it. Wesker didn't wake up each morning and check things off his list of Evil for the Day. I seem to recall it being mentioned quite recently Birkin's goal was to improve the human race, and he killed and mutated how many to do that? Again, I doubt he considered himself evil.

As for Luis...this is the same Luis who thought that researching brain controlling parasites was a good plan? As I recall even when the Ganados started showing up he didn't stop, he just felt ashamed. I'm not sure I'd trust his judgement either.

I'm not saying she is evil, or isn't. I'm just saying those sources are not definitive. At best, the tone suggests she's not evil. But it's certainly not the be all and end all. At least, not so far.

    Thing is, they do.

"I don't do evil." Just as her words described
Birkin is more complicated. He was involved in the development of biological weapons long before his human evolution goal, same with Annette. The fact that she was a loving mother on the inside doesn't change what she did. Even then, William was written as being egotistical and childish, his "benevolent" goal was really just an extension of that. Something for him to be recognized for.

Luis thought researching brain controlling parasites was a good idea. Because he is a scientist. That is what scientists do. Are scientists evil just because they study deadly viruses and such? They often develop countermeasures. Which is... exactly what Luis did. He developed drugs to slow the parasite's growth and assimilation to a host, and also a device to remove them altogether. He felt ashamed because he didn't do anything to actively stop Saddler because he was too fascinated by the parasite to notice what the cult were doing secretly.

Wesker stood by what he thought was best and said he wasn't destroying the world, but saving it. So if we're going by the sources opinionated response then it's questionable and not definitive. If she could change between RE2 and RE4 then she very well can by the time RE6 comes around.

And are we talking sun rise or sun set? Either way antagonists and protagonists have done both. As far as the old "sunrise" ending goes HUNK and Sergei were some prime examples. Krauser with his wonderful commentary. Wesker didn't even need an actual ride in UC he just hopped the rest of the way I guess, but still looked towards a brighter tomorrow.

    Yes, I meant sunrise.

Wesker knew he was evil from the beginning, and was completely unrepentant about it. He knew what he was doing was morally wrong, but he did it anyway because it was the world he wanted, and he wanted to be the "God" of it. Before that, he simply wanted to control the world. I'd be surprised if the "saving the world" line is even in the BH5 script. They made up a lot more about his character.

HUNK flies off into the night going by his original scenario. It was changed to sunrise in UC to match it up with when Leon and Claire escape, since he is meant to escape at the same time. Sergei doesn't fly into the sunrise, it just happens to be sunrise at the time. Even Jill doesn't fly off into it in UC. Wesker's Dark Legacy scenario is the same, it's at the same time as the end of Chris and Jill's scenario, where the sunrise occurs. Would be stupid to have sunrise for them and night for Wesker when it's the same time (and the whole operation only takes place over about an hour or two). They don't deliberately show him flying into it like they do with every protagonist in the series in every game.

Neo-Umbrella is most likely not The Organization. I doubt it is an actual organization, just something Simmons made up in order to pin the blame on.

Though hopefully The Organization will be featured considering Ada is there. Alex Wesker should hopefully be there as well.

Which Organization are you reffering to? RE2 or RE4?

The Organization, the one Ada is truly working for in BH4.

The Third Organization is the rival company of Umbrella.

I don't understand why many people seem to believe she is some ruthless super villain. Where is the evidence for that? Some of her actions are questionable sure, but at the end of the day she is a spy and it's her job.

She worked for Umbrella's rival company, infiltrated the mansion and got close to Jon Clemens. Did she kill him? No.

She infiltrated Raccoon City to get the G-Virus. Leon got in her way. Did she kill him? No. Did she ever intend to kill him? No. Did she try to bluff him so he wouldn't get hurt? Yes.

In Death's Door when she speaks to Wesker she looks out the window and seems genuinely worried what would happen if the G-Virus ever got out. But at that stage, she had no choice but to extract the sample as it was the only way she could escape Raccoon City alive.

In Bio 4, she never had any intention of giving Wesker the Dominant Plaga. She is even told her own organization wants the sample for study and to disprove any theories they had about it. It's plainly obvious when she points her gun at Leon at the end she has no intention of harming him. She is playing with him and probably only did this to stop him from doing something stupid and tossing it into the sea. He believed she was working for Wesker after all.

She killed Krauser because he figured out she wasn't really on team evil's side when it came to Wesker's ambitions.

Archives 2 says she doesn't do evil.

So unless I missed a file where it said Ada leaked the t-Virus into Raccoon City and spread Las Plagas around the innocent populace of Pueblo, I really don't get all this super villain, let's be a leader of Neo Umbrella and destroy the world stuff.

    It's not her.

So what do you think man, is the rival company of Umbrella gone for good (by 2006)?

Most likely, that's the vibe Wesker's BH5 file gives. Could always still remain in some form though, we'll just have to wait and see. I just doubt Neo-Umbrella is anything more than a made-up organization fabricated by Simmons in order to shift the blame.

Well thank god that plot line is most likely closed. And I agree about Neo-Umbrella. Simmons is looking like a really good villain.

That would explain why Simmons waits 30 years before turning into a total dickhead.

If it happens to be Alex, I wonder what he'd be after? He's already got the immortality virus, right? Can't wait to see what his motivation in the plot is.

I can't shake the feeling that Simmons is at least connected to the Wesker Children. It doesn't matter that he looks nothing like Wesker (heck, even Jake only looks like his dad when he's doing the "oh it's on now" grimace) because none of the Wesker Children were actually related.
