Anderson never ceases to amaze me. This could very well be the most entertaining Resident Evil movie ever.

This is how the White House will look like after the upcoming election.

Didn't the virus already go global two movies ago and shit was fucked up? I love how Anderson himself doesn't even know what's going on in his own movies anymore. Quality filmmaker right here. Being a film student, I hope I can be like him one day.![]()

the reason that Milla has a chain weapon is probably due to Anderson wanting to direct that shitty Castlevania adaptation he wrote 3 years back as the project is still in development hell.
I read the script, and it's basically a rejected Alien vs Predator script where a platoon ventures into a spaceship (in this case, Dracula's castle) and they get killed one by one until only one remains -Simon Belmont.
The film ends with both Dracula and Simon dead but a lone survivor remains... a woman who was bitten by Dracula and has developed superpowers - this survivor would be the protagonist of the sequels. And you can bet that Milla Jovovich would play her in all of them.
GIANT FUCKING LICKER. All that needs to be said.
Hes mostly right, its such a fail script. It had a few vampires and zombies/skeletons...but that's it. Simon Belmont and Dracula are fighting over a woman, kill eachother and 1000 years or so later Castle Dracula is a tourist location and then for no reason what-so-ever..a new castle Dracula forms in the center of new York city with the woman who is now a vampire. Shes waiting for either Simon or Dracula to come to her.
Funny thing about the script is...Simon Belmont uses a sword for like 99% of the story, he uses a whip for like 2 action scenes and then sticks to his trusty sword.
I aint making this shit up, you can find the article online.
It's like Anderson and Milla are a dynamic duo of terribleness. Which sucks, because she seems like an otherwise cool person. Don't know about him, though.

Their struggle for existence is over for the time being. But a sin violating sanctuary isn't forgiven. This is not just an end. This is the end of a beginning.
I'd call that fanfiction level of bad writing but I suppose fanfiction writers at least know the series they are writing about.
I don't believe Anderson ever played or read any of the books he worked on the adaptation of and he maybe saw one Alien or Predator movie. It's like he has a closet full of shitty scripts and ideas and when he gets a job as director/producer/writer/whatever he picks up of these scripts at random and just changes a few names and stuff and calls it an adaptation.
