Default Guacamelee - A game for those that loved the plot of RE4 (and own a PS3 or Vita)

Plot: Guacamelee! features a down-on-his-luck agave farmer named Juan Aguacate, who sets out to save the world when El Presidente’s Daughter is kidnapped by an Evil Charro Skeleton. The story takes place in and around a small village in Mexico, and has the player travelling through “The World of the Living” and “The World of the Dead” on his quest to rescue the girl he loves.

    Genre: Beat'em-up/Metroidvania.... yes, METROIDVANIA

This looks cool as hell. I'm a fan of the Metroid games and the influences are really standing out!

Failing to see what is Metroid about it, is a melee brawler with an art style like nothing in any Metroid game and the gameplay/level design showed nothing that screams Metroid and only showed what countless side scrollers that are nothing like Metroid has shown.

Show me a map and prove it is a maze.
