We desperately need an RE1.5/3.5 board separate from Umbrella Labs

We're here to talk about whether there should be a sub-forum for 1.5, whether it should include other betas, and that jazz. Not try and have a go at other members. And this goes for people reading after this post too. Don't make me spank you, children.

Just to resurrect this thread I think in light of recent developments 1.5 should have its own sub-forum now, or one for all betas.

It's frustrating to see nearly every topic on the front page is now some kind of beta topic. I realise its a big thing for people but I don't see why it couldn't have it's own sub section and leave Umbrella labs to be for general discussion on the officially released and licensed games.

I have little interest in 1.5. I know I'm part of a rare breed but we do exist.

Yea I agree that we desperately need a separate section for ANYTHING beta related for the entire RE series. The amount of beta threads overuling the general RE discussion is getting quite intense and shows no signs of dying down with all the new users coming in that just discovered the WIP build. Sadly tho I don't think creating a new section is as easy as 1,2,3 but we can still hope.

How about just disabling account registration so all the stupid people who were banned from the forums before can never come back and spam the shit out of this place with porn? I'm rather disappointed how lax the mod staff has been about that.

I also second the notion of wanting a separate forum where all prototypical things Resident Evil can be discussed at.

It's less a case of 'lax' and more a case of 'they usually do it around 2am in America and 8am in Britain when no one is awake' but, as soon as one of us gets on, they're banned and the posts deleted. There aren't many active mods currently - me, Gene, Canas and of course Carn when he's on.

I'm active as well I sign onto the forums and check the mod forum everyday and a quick browse of the forum, so I can't catch everything but if something's been reported, I'll pick it up if no one else got to it first.

I think a section for all the Betas would be good, there usually seems to be a Beta topic and at least then it would separate the topics from Beta discussions and Retail discussions.
