It costs 1400,- at GameStop in Norway (GameStop's the retailer for this in Scandinavia, by the way)
That's roughly $230.

Seems like it'll be in quite limited quantities.

No way! A special/collector's edition normally costa 100$ or so. 230$ is way too much, let's not forget that Norway is insanely expensive.

I will probably only buy the standard version firstly because I'm a university student and I can't really spare the money. Secondly after the terrible RE5 special edition steel book I'd rather put the extra £80 or so towards something else.

Sorry to DP, but I've noticed the price keeps changing over here. Was $229, then $249, now $299. I pre-ordered it at $229 so that's what I'll pay regardless (unless it goes down under it - nice thing that website does)... but there is no way I would have paid what they're asking for now for it if I hadn't ordered early.
