The dualshock controls are absolutely horrible for the TALOS fight. The game manages reasonably well but for that fight? Man alive.

I can confirm this. I actually had to go back and upgrade the Automatic Pistol, MRL and Shotgun to max just for that fight.

Started playing Darkside, it too looks great, but something still feels off all the time I think. And what is up with Iron's and the G-Imago bursting from him? It's like one of the worst directed moments in the entire series, just awful.

My guess? They were too lazy to properly make the scene, or perhaps they thought it would be too gory. The cutscenes in Darkside look great; I just wish that they were more in-depth and that there were more of them (longer).

The new ending to the CV segment where Chris and Wesker stare each other out through the fire is one of my fave moments in the entire series. The music and direction is perfect. I'm surprised in this day and age Capcom didn't ruin it by having Wesker shout 'Chrissssss!'

I liked it, too. Shame we didn't get to fight Wesker like in the real CVX, or even see a cutscene of it, but it was cool nonetheless.

The CV scenario should have been longer, though.

I loathe what they did to the Ashford siblings in Darkside, I utterly *hate* the fact that Alexia kills Alfred. Totally ruins everything about the theme of CV.

I hated that too, though I did like what was done with Alexander before being infected. Even if the date was well off.

I was very disappointed that there was no Wesker/Chris confrontation at all. Wesker only had one fucking line! Pretty pathetic when Wesker played a huge role in CV. And I also do agree the CV scenario should have been longer. But I did like what they did with the insanity factor within the Ashford family
