I believe 2012 is the Year of "Resident Evil". Several games of the franchise will be released, and then there is the live action movie and this movie -- just a whole lot coming! As a sequel to "Degeneration", we are giving all our best to creating "Damnation". It's going to be one movie that you're definitely going to enjoy. Hope you look forward to it!

God I hope so, I could barely stay awake through the first film. The fact that Leon showed less movement or emotion than a card board cutout in most scenes didn't help. Still, I'm excited for this flick. Any word yet on Mercier returning or if it's the RE6 VA, or neither?

I hope the events in this film is the result of the first use of the C-Virus. And it would be cool if Jake had a cameo as a mercenary but his significance is not revealed of course until Bio 6.

Ada being all but confirmed is excellent news. Hopefully it will shed some light on what she's been doing since Bio4. I also hope Simmons has a role.

Got high hopes for this, can't wait until the reveal.

I bet we all be dissapointed with almost no connection with RE6. I think it will be like Degeneration where only connection was Tricell at the end of the movie. No Jake. No C-virus. No Simmons or Carla. Maybe there will be scene with President Benford, but that's it.

Oh wow, I'm guessing Mercier is back huh? So strange to have him voicing Leon in this and not RE6... Least it doesn't sound like him in 6 anyway... Either way, looking forward to this film. Any idea when the full trailer is supposed to be up?

I can only assume Resi 6 and Damnation were potentially recorded around the same time, and Mercier perhaps only available for one. That's if it his him. lol.

It does sound a lot like him (certainly moreso than RE6, which I think we can safely say isn't Paul Mercier, but he's not bad either).

I'm hoping he'll be back in Damnation. Despite what he had to work with (the over-the-top cheese in 4 and Mr. Roboto in Degen) I'd say he made the character. It's a shame that he won't be in 6.

We can predict that it'll have about the same connection to RE6 as Degeneration had to 5, but remember- RE6 was most likely developed either before or in conjunction with Damnation. The film is coming out after 6, and there might be more of a connection than we think. However, I'm open to the possibility that there'll just be a handwave or two.
