    Just that.

    When was Leon crying when he had to shoot the president? he was startled not crying.

    It looks like it so far. He's much older in BH6 than he is in BH4 and Degeneration so there may be slight changes.

    I didn't meant it literal.
    I've put "crying" because Leon has taken longer than any other RE character to shoot his "BFF ever since 1998".

    It will be interesting to finally get to know the true character. I have to admit his character did seem very sincere in the demo, very natural as if nothing was forced out of him.

    Leon is very serious, dedicated to his work and deeply wants to help the others. Even though I liked the idea of Leon changing over the years between RE2 and RE4, something was wrong about his RE4 persona. Guess I finally understand why.

    Meh, I still like his snarky attitude as well as Paul Mercier's performance. He pulled it off well.

    I like the fact that the characters have changed and aged over time. They've been affected by their experiences. The localization thing aside, Leon's quips in RE4 can be interpreted as a coping mechanism. Who's to say it wasn't fitting in context?

    Because his "coping mechanism" doesn't appear anywhere else. They don't tend to appear and disappear so suddenly in real people.

    Hilariously, the localization refers to the Asian as both male and female in each file. But hey, the localizations are consistent amirite?
    A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds... as they say. I have to admit, I still enjoy Leon's smarmy side as much as I do his serious (and apparently canon) personality. In my mind, he will always be that same cocky bastard he was from RE4.

    Just one thing I'd like to shoot in here;

    I'm not so sure I would read too much into the Japanese subtitle script in terms of character portrayals and personality.
    Everyone I know who's fluent in japanese, be they professional translators, native speakers or just someone who's generally fluent in Japanese, have commented on the Biohazard subtitle script have said they read like *drumrolls* subtitle scripts and not actual dialog. (There is a substantial difference.)

    The subtitle script is the actual dialogue, straight from the scenario. For example, if you compare the scenario of GS4 they posted up on its official website, aside from the minor differences due to it being an earlier draft, it's the exact same as the subtitles presented in-game. I don't see why they would not give Japanese gamers an actual script. That's even worse than giving English gamers a butchered one.

    I have to say, this is a really good thing. Leon's personality in Degeneration is ridiculously boring.

    I'm enjoying Leon's personality in RE6 so far. As far as his previous attitude, he was in a very isolated environment in RE4, so his constant one-liners/personality worked. RE4, while having it's share of horror, was a bit more light hearted and filled with humor, offering more comedic tones as far as the main character and even the villians such as Salazar and Saddler.

    RE6, looks to be pretty fucking dark. Also, he's working alongside many professionals this time out, it would just be inappropriate to make jokes. His personality in RE4 was refreshing and worked perfectly for that game, but I think his scenario in RE6 opening up with Leon having to kill the president/close friend sends a message: No more funny business.

    Leon's apparently mangled personality in the 4th game was more interesting. But it was so arrogant, cocky and assholeish (not to mention melodramatic) that it was a big part of what made the game so poor at actually scaring things.
