    Capcom is celebrating its 30th anniversary with game discounts on Stream for the recent days. Today, the Resident Evil titles on STEAM is receiving a huge 75% discount (except for Operation Raccoon City, which receives a 66% discount).

        They may have started development on RE7 immediately after they finished RE6 instead of waiting to see how the fanbase reacted to the 6th game.

        Thats not really a good sign. With RE5 splitting the fanbase further than RE4 they should have waited to for the sales and fan reactions on 6.

        They seem to be assuming that every RE game is going to be a huge success like 4 and 5 were.

        Thats not good planning.

          Err, it's not a sign of anything. Every single game in the series began development immediately after the last. That's a completely moot point, and they've had a year to implement feedback from BIO6.

            Remember how RE4 got started on development right after CV and how it was the exact same at release as when they start-- oh wait...
