Alright, boys and girls. Three things.

Apparently there is a leaked copy of Resident Evil 5 already on the net. Not exactly shocking. Between this and the Japanese release on the 5th of March everyone should bear in mind that spoilers are likely to appear all over the internet these days.

We remind you all that all Spoilers should be spoiler tagged and kept in the Spoiler topic. Don't make us hurt you.

THIA (The Horror Is Alive) does not condone the act of piracy. So, as a reminder: all talk of downloading this game, or linking to a download of it, is strictly forbidden and will do nothing but secure you an express ticket to Ban Town.

i dont think we have anything to worry about because everyone knows where spoilers go and besides dot made it so no trolls can join a ruin the game for all of us

It's true no one can register and screw things up...but there is still a chance someone may screw up. Or that one of those accounts that have been registered before the ban isn't a troll waiting for the chance to strike.

Mostly, though, this is to make sure you folks don't click a link heading for Spoilerville or one of the newer members deciding to be a hero and posting up the link to dowload the game. I don't really wanna ban folk. But I will.

Felt the content of it was of such importance that it'd look better if it looked all serious and a bit more like an announcement of sorts.

It's too late now but I'm not sure you should have posted this 'news'.
I and I'm sure many others would have had no idea that it was leaked and on the net already. You have now virtually advertised the fact!

I bet many people won't be able to resist looking for it now and downloading it and some of those people would have otherwise bought it.

It must be the 360 version since that's the only one that plays pirate games. This wouldn't happen if it was a PS3 exclusive.

And with this unsavory news, I think I'll take a vacation from the net... Spoilers are gonna be everywhere.

This is my signal to get off the damn interwebz. Seriously, I think I ought to go on lockdown mode now, or at least stop lurking as much as I normally do here. I swore myself off of spoilers starting yesterday, and this only encourages me to rip away for the next two weeks.

Bianca must not be spoiled anymore than she has been!
