Part 3: Hacking the Trials

Title Screen Debug (Map's and Rooms)

## Represents the numbers which is selected, and Room obviously represents what the maps name is. Point (If available) will also be listed after words in bold. If required I'll list a brief explanation of what I think the room is below the Point area. *BLANK* will indicate that the room has no name. Ill be listing the translations if needed on the next line, beneath the actual name in italics. Note: If you notice missing room numbers its because some rooms are not on the disc itself and not listed, therefore are not listed here.

Looking back on this page and the next few which list the rooms I feel they were a bit rushed. So Id like to take this time to point out some of the more interesting rooms mentioned. I have had our translator Björn go through and translate the Romanji for us, so we can get a better idea perhaps what Biohazard 3.5 was all about. Its thanks to him that we have more information about Biohazard 3.5 so thank you very much to him :). In the right hand pane Ill list some descriptions if I think some of them need explaining. Some are self explanatory so I wont comment on those. Almost all of the Stage 0 maps are either test rooms or rooms from Biohazard 3.

Description
00 - AIRSHIP First we have Airship being mentioned. Obviously this refers to the object with the propeller as seen in the trailer for Biohazard 3.5. Some fans have speculated it was an Airship and some a Submarine, now we have concrete proof that it was indeed an Airship. Certainly an odd map for a Resident Evil game. Perhaps it fit into the "dream" angle that the game was aiming at.
01 - CURTAIN Thanks to Greko from the Bioflames forums for pointing out that this is most likely the room where Leon is walking down the hallway with the curtains being blown around.
02 - ATARI TEST ROOM
02 - HIT TEST ROOM
This most likely refers to various attacks which Leon can sustain. Most likely used for animation testing.
03 - test  
04 - DON BEYA
04 - OUTSIDE ROOM
We don't know what this refers to.
05 - BLOCK TEST  
06 - *BLANK*  
07 - ARASHI
07 - STORM
This could refer to the area where Leon is shown with lightning flashing in the background, as a storm rages.
08 - MORI-test
08 - FOREST-test
Perhaps a 3.5 room, however this could very well be a test room with various foliage around to simulate a forest.
09 - SPIRAL STAIRCASE Obviously this refers to the room in which the "black mist" creeps up the steps towards Leon.

This could refer to the courtyard that is seen outside the windows as Leon walks down the hall before switching to First Person View.

Perhaps these refer to the room in which Leon is being attacked by the Hookman.

This refers to a corridor which the deer head comes to life. Presumably other stuffed animals did as well.

Perhaps Biohazard 3.5 used inventory boxes like previous titles?

Could it be that Biohazard 3.5 delved deeper into the virus aspect more than we thought?

Its worth mentioning that when you change the STAGE to 0 the ENEMY SET changes to ????? indicating that the enemies from 3.5 are no longer named, or programmed in the new incarnation of 4.
