martin scorsese is not even close to be at the same lvl as james cameron.

to darkmoon the story is great to the whole world he made up for it.

Avatar is the prettiest movie ever made...which, given some other comments, may explain rehunks love of it. It's story is piss poor though. I predicted every single bloody plot twist by thirty minutes in. And yes, the Pocahantos references are quite valid. Acting is solid, sound track is...there and that's about it.

Yes, it looks good. It's gonna take a lot more than that to get me to like a movie.

the 90s he gave us Terminator 2 even better than the 1
then he even made titanic that was best selling movie

The only decent thing about Avatar:

well avatar is just that kind of a movie that did so well so its cool to hate it becuse it got so much fame .. then automatic people should have hate against it

This is lifted EXACTLY from Dances with Wolves and Disney's Pocahontas. You can like it all you want, but it's NOT original. It's by no means a storytelling masterpiece and if anything, only visually interesting if that. I was quite let down by Pandora myself. Also, Colonel Quaritch is a beast and I was rooting for him all along. When you'e got a race that is supposedly and annoyingly perfect in every way and THEIR xenophobia is ignored since they're the heroes...um, no. Not rooting for them.

It was Pocahontas with blue people it really is true. And I'm sick of trying to guilt human beings as 'teh ultimate evulz' in films.
