For anyone that hasn't tried it yet, I thought of an interesting way to play with ChrisRedfield29. Basically I wanted to see how difficult a level would be without Sheva attacking. I fully disarmed Sheva save for her herb. The only time I would do anything to an enemy was when Chris was grabbed. And no...we didn't take any short cuts in Shanty either. I was tossed over to the building and had to run through. No knife, no direct melee (just help). Usually I just stood back and dodged enemy attacks. We did this in Shanty Town...and we survived as if both of us were killing enemies. Chris, we need to try this in Public Assembly and see how difficult it will be.

Yes, it was quite interesting to see how ridiculously easy it was to actually get through the level with Sheva(Rosetta) playing the role of RE5's Ashley Graham. Chris didn't even break a sweat, to be quite honest. Chainsaw Chuck went down faster than Paris Hilton(HIYOOO) and the Majini didn't pose a threat whatsoever. Rosetta played the part of the woman in handing the man items and occasionally(and sometimes unnecessarily) "rescuing" me from the grasps of a frisky Majini.

TL;DR = The demo is really easy and I hope the main game's normal difficulty will be SUBSTANTIALLY harder.

Public Assembly could be an entirely different slice of pie, to be quite honest. I'm ready whenever you are.

I'll be ready in a few. I just got off work and need to do a few things and finish fixing dinner. The Assembly should be epic.

I suggest other people try it out. Chris and I will have to try Shanty again and see how it is when Sheva doesn't provide help. .

Wow. I"m glad to hear someone else actaully mention this. Everyone had been really quick to write away the game as being too easy because of the majini's tendency to stand around, along with how much a pushover the chainsaw majini and executioner really are(though the executioner is tricky ONLY because of the swarm of majini on public assembly). Through, I don't think people have really thought about this paticular demo has been around for quite a while--hasn't Capcom been using this demo since TGS? Not to mention that this is the same demo released in japan last month, the same demo that's has no gory death scenes either. I suppose the demo really is just that, a little demo.

I'm certainly hoping that the real game will be alot more challening in these parts. I figure this is an easy mode setting, though I doubt it'll be in the real game. Just a demo after all. (We hope)

So Chris and I did a Sheva= Ashley playthrough of Public Assembly and had no problems. It was actually a bit easy. I do believe that he did kill the executioner. I think actually that the assembly might have been a bit easier. Sounds crazy, but there are more places where you can get to avoid one hit kills from the boss. We didn't stay on top of the buildings too long either, just long enough to fend off a few majini and get the ammo.

Yup. Here's hoping the demo is a different build of difficulty than the main game, because I got through Public Assembly as Chris with little to no trouble. She ran around and grabbed ammo, and that was basically it. Hopefully the demo is a "accessible for noobs and the press" difficulty build, or at least the easiest difficulty available in the retail game. I feel like there should be more enemies on screen, and they should be a little more hostile and less idiotic in their attempts to attack the players.

I'm also hoping that the people are reading this, and the people who are reading this know that Rosetta and I are doing these things with the community in mind, trying to bring things to light that to my knowledge haven't been exposed before. If the demo is an indication of how easy the main game will be, I think all of you, the loyal RE fans, deserve to know.


But what would a spammer like me know.
