Barry Gjerde or just plain old Barry to you and i

I'm pretty sure I've found him, a few details don't match up on sites, like Birthplace. But there are too many physical similarities to ignore including this voice clip i grabbed from a japanese agency website

    Barry?

Still nothing at my end. Michael is doing the play until April 5th, so I probably wont hear back from him until after then.

I talked to one of the Scott McCulloch's, and it appears imdb has the two mixed together... The Scott that I chatted with is on-screen only (with no video game acting experience) and it appears the other Scott is video game voice acting only. He said that imdb thinks they are the same person. The search continues...

When Takeuchi said he'd been involved in the series since the beginning I always assumed he was just some lowly programmer... Turns out he designed Jill, Chris, Barry, hunters, Tyrant... Most of what we identify with Resident Evil. He's played a much bigger part in the series than I thought.

look at this image , her eye brows are the same :

Great stuff Rombie. My questions would mainly concern production of the first Biohazard's FMV and voice acting On another note, with regards to Scott McCulloch, I don't think he is the actor playing Chris whatsoever, and I've sent him an e-mail to try and get some answers... Was it Michael Gough playing the physical part as well as the voice acting? We shall find out!

I'll be sending off the questions in the next day. He's currently doing a play in LA until April 5th, so he said he'll get back to me when he either has free time or at worst once the play is over. I'm not fussed waiting, but I'll keep you posted and link the full thing when it's done.

If anyone has any other questions you want me to ask him about RE4 or anything too, let me know in the next 12 hours or so.

Just an FYI, I've heard back from Michael Gough and he's keen to answer some questions, so I'll definitely be asking if he's previously worked on the original title.
Maybe he'll sidestep and denounce it. I mean, would you really want to be associated with the voice acting in the game? Seriously.

Gough is a good voice actor, so I'll certainly be surprised if he was in it...

Takeuchi's first breakthrough was directing Onimusha 1, and that's when he pretty much left the game design side; aside from pitching in for some animations in Oni3.
That's cool to know. I think that would contribute to his caring a lot for the characters that were in RE5.
