No, although coincidentally a bootleg surfaced on eBay amongst a PS2 dev auction which from what we can tell did get sold, whether it was the same guy or not who knows, but it's likely he decided to sell instead of releasing it online.

Well, Capcom's been very open and welcoming to fan efforts and going the extra mile for a good few things (especially in cases where odd legal obstacles have been in the way)

If the final product is impressive and popular enough, it will speak for itself and Capcom will act accordingly. Aside from enjoying the game, this is the other aspect that I eagerly anticipate.
